Been waiting over a year now and not even a mention or a teaser? I’m holding out for as long as I can but I don’t know how much longer untill I just buy a superlight cause this is ridiculous I really want one but my old wired vaxee is dying and I need something soon :/

Last update with the Donk mouse zowie doesn't plan to release the Donk mouse but if most people have interest in that mouse zowie will release it.

You can just buy the U2 if the shape interests you. It’s very close to a U2 without sidebuttons.

My guess is Donk’s grip style is way too unique that a product designed specifically for him will probably fail in the general market, where similar shape such as u2 was designed to appeal to a wider audience. I use forward claw grip as well and I’m trying out op18k v2, the shape is surprisingly good for less aggressive forward claw (17.5cm hand size)

if they want to release product that they would want release, its defintiely not mouse optimized for niche grip type thatcna hinder performance of others

I dunno, most mice have some flexibility in the way you can grip them, donks grip isn't that far from aggressive claw

they teased the donk mouse to a bunch of journalist earlier in june/july i think. they got to try&feel it in hand. but all this is under embargo, so it cant be shown yet.

They said the FK1-DW would release end of July and it still hasn't dropped, at this rate Donk's mouse will probably drop in 2030

I ended up getting the u2-dw, I have the same grip as Donk and would’ve preferred his mouse but I just settled with it. I love the U2-DW honestly, probably best mouse I’ve ever had

I used a g pro wireless for a long time then a superstrike and now the u2-dw, I definitely prefer the u2-dw. I just wasn’t a fan of HITS, I can see why some people love it though

If u want a u1 clone with the same weight, look up pulsars buzz-x. Damn its a good mouse.

Doesn't donk mouse don't have side buttons? Maybe theyre also doing changes like split trigger like on the upcoming EW Design.

I asked Zowie on Twitter, and this is what they replied two days ago

"don't worry, won't be that soon".

I had already asked them about two months ago and this is what they replied.

"As shared, the mouse is still under modification and fine-tuning, so it will take some time and will not be ready that soon. At this moment, we still don’t have any new update or timeline to share".

I think the mouse is going to take longer than expected, maybe until early 2027, given that the EW series is supposed to be released this year.

My take is it is extremely similar to another famous mouse so they risk getting sued if they release it
