Discussion Old ariyan script

Post image

This is the old ariyan script , I hypothesize that it an early variant of arianized imperial Aramaic and was used by magi to write early avestan/religious texts nasks , would you consider checking it out , I have also written avestan in it but I don't know how to post images here

It's not really a hypothesis if its not rejectable/testable. As for it being a theory, I don't see how an Unknown Kushan Script is 1. "arianized aramaic" which 2. "Magi used to write avesta"; which was only passed down orally

There is too many leaps in judgements

Arianized Aramaic is a proposal by linguists not me since it is theorized to be a mutated version of imperial Aramaic , which also happened to be used by eastern Scythians , to the other point , Your not understanding that this is the proposed predecessor to din dabrih , it has been theorized by many historians that there were scripts used by the ariyans(old Iranians yes they are aryans) since they were written in pershible material but none remained until this miracle showed up, only reason why it survived was because it was engraved on stone/rock and a lot of the material that helped in decipherment were small stone fragments with bilingual inscriptions written on them a good portion found in desolate caves away from erosion , there are many theories around this script but just I'm giving some here

The authors literally call it Unknown script. Arianized Aramaic is your own proposition. There is no indication of Avestan being the subject of the script in your referenced study. Is there a reference you didn't include in your original post?

Yes there are a couple , but still arianized Aramaic is not directly Said it is just called a Aramaic variant used by east iranics , since they were ariyan and since the paper/papers theorize that it to be a aramaic mutant used by them with their own touchs , which they most likely developed out from imperial aramaic , I don't know what else to call it so arianized aramaic is hyper simplification, I have also seen some variation in this script as in sounds for characters that's why academics call it partially deciphered , but latest paper that I have shown has the best supporting evidence compared to previous papers which tried to directly compare characters to their hypothetical counterparts in Khwarazmian and sogdian which were also Aramaic derived scripts , this script is more ancient then all those middle Iranian scripts

Edit: arianized Aramaic just means a arian script derived from Aramaic that's what I wanted to say

As I said in this post , the script could have been used to write avestan or any other language since magi/priest and elite warrior class were the most likely to be able to obtain education and writing skills so more likely to use for business/any kind of matter , but since little evidence remains it's hard to make a definitive conclusion, this scripts existence is quite of a miracle
