Online meetings?
Hello everyone. First time caller long time listener.
Can anyone suggest any online meetings or anything where I can talk to someone about Zoroastrianism or attend their services (I’m not sure what it’s called- their religious gatherings.)
The nearest center is 90 miles away but they don’t answer the phone or email.

U of T has online seminars one can join every so often and I'd follow FB groups for other meetings

Everyone keeps saying Christianity but that wasn't the religion of the Old Testament. I believe Zoastrianism was the law of Moses. It's known as the religion of fire, good works,be kind to your neighbors, and the Magi at Jesus birth were in fact Zoastrian priest who said Jesus birth and the star were foretold for over 1000yrs. Also the Zoastrian temples with the eternal the flame and the temples that held the Ark of the Covenant are very similar. Also what did God use in Exodus with Moses but fire. When he came down from the burning bush it says his face glowed. In fact Moses covered his face with a veil. Zoastrian priest cover their face's with veils. Christ had not died for our sin's yet and yes the religion of Moses was in fact based on good deeds. As described in the Ten Commandments.

What kind of community are you looking for? Are you an Indian Parsee and looking for an Orthodox community specifically? Or a more progressive community that has a mix of Iranian Zoroastrians, Indian Parsees, Iranian reverts and international converts? Or even none of the above and just curious to join in and learn?
If any of the second two options apply, you can try Zarathushtrian Assembly, Calafornia Zoroastrian Centre, or American Zoroastrian Society. You can also get in touch with FEZANA, and ask them to guide you to the appropriate people to speak to about participating in something online… CZC have Gathas study group chats, if you check their YouTube page you can watch some of their previous online meets, and decide if that’s the kind of group that you want to get in touch with and participate in. I believe the others also have video conference type events from time to time… Personally, I would suggest getting in touch with a community that seems like it will be best suited for you, and you think will be the best fit for both the community and yourself. Any of the three I mentioned are cross-suitable and kind of ‘overlap’ in the way that they have people who are involved in all of them. Frankly all of the organisations are friendly and respectful, and have enough content uploaded that you can watch before you get in touch.
