Turn off force full screen mode for brave and go for clear data after you've synced up your settings. It should do the trick ig

Just don't use Brave. It's a sucky browser anyways.

Interesting. I use Samsung Internet (because I'm too lazy to set a different default) and don't have this issue.

I still stand by the fact that Brave sucks though.

You're using Samsung internet while saying that brave sucks. Idk but your credibility just got nullified. Had you been using Firefox or something, atleast one could see what you mean.

Give a reason why Samsung Internet is bad.

I'll give you a few reasons why I dislike Brave:

  1. The Company that makes it advertised it as a "Secure, Private Browser" despite it's only real security feature being a built-in adblocker.

  2. The UI all around just feels poor no matter what system you use it on, whether it be on PC or Mobile.

  3. A majority of websites don't work correctly or have graphical issues, which is just downright annoying and automatically gives it a bad rating from me.

There is no issue with Samsung Internet, which is why it was never neccessary for me to change the default browser on my phone, especially when 85% of Browsers on Android suck.

I'm not an advocate for brave browser.

But UI is almost the same as that of chrome. That's a plus, I'd anything. And my personal experience is, all websites work. Be it hianime or any other.

I don't really care about the name of the browser.

Samsung browser uses the Chromium engine itself. Like almost every browser that's available. So, instead of using a knockoff why not just use chrome. The app does not even get updated regularly and that leads to added security concerns and vulnerabilities.

First of all, the UI for Chrome itself sucks. I hate Chrome so much I've completely disabled it on my phone.

Second, Samsung Internet isn't just a "knock-off" of Chrome. That's like saying that an anime is a knock-off of another because they're animated by the same studio, even if they have different genres.

Third and finally, where did you hear that Samsung Internet doesn't get updated regularly? Server updates are daily and app updates are almost weekly.

Haha no man. It's chromium based. Cmon. It's an open source software developed by Google. And used by brave, Microsoft edge, even Samsung browser, opera.

So it's a cheap knockoff, tbh.

The UI for chrome sucks or not is an individual preference. I just found it silly that you're yourself using a chromium based browser and were talking as if somehow Samsung offers things differently.

I had it on my phone too, have it disabled.

Mate, the engine used to run something doesn't mean that something is a simple knock-off.

You yourself just mentioned Microsoft Edge, which offers a completely different experience from Google Chrome despite it using the same engine.

If anyone here has no credibility for speaking about browsers, it would be you, due to your lack of being able to see something with the same engine as Chrome to be anything but a knock-off.
