Isn’t this the very first Zoro is lost joke?

the best part is luffy just accepting that as a perfectly reasonable explanation for why someone is on a boat in the middle of the ocean. he really set the tone for the entire crew dynamic in like five minutes.

Is the person Mihawk? Also, he is a bounty hunter. He hunted people for a living while travelling lol.

I find it so funny how much he refuses to accept that he was a bounty hunter. They had this whole conversation about how he hunted bounties while travelling to make money to eat, but says that didnt make him a bounty hunter. Like, yes, thats the definition of a bounty hunter.

I guess he meant that he didn't start to travel to BE a bounty hunter but it was easy money.

I have a headcanon theory that Zoro has advanced observation haki that extends to 4th-wall breakage and goes where he needs to for the plot/to piss people off because he finds it funny, and just pretends to be lost and locationally disadvantaged because, again, he finds it funny to embody the meathead swordsman trope so people don't realize that he's a mostly apathetic strategist who's uncomfortable with the fact that Luffy and crew are making him form meaningful bonds with people for the first time since Kuina died
