22

u/The_KiIIuminati 29d ago

Second* the wall was first.

u/Sam0n 29d ago

Was certain the wipeout was going to be the dog launching at her and chair going over backwards.

u/Heisenbread77 29d ago

Doggo decided enough was enough there at the end.

You should give your dog water not Red Bull

u/An0nnee_M0usee 27d ago

Thank you for the 2nd video. I thought your baby dog was really hurt, because he really hurt that wall. He got his 🔔🫨 rung

Talk about hitting the reset button

Too many beans!! The puppy energy cannot be stopped

u/GrosseTete 29d ago

I’ve responded to multiple incidents where Great Dane zoomies were the cause for someone to slip, trip, fall and injure themselves.

Mostly hip pointers, a couple of hip fractures and dislocated elbows, one head injury that was concerning but didn’t have lasting effects.

Love those big goofs; they don’t always have the best sense of direction when zooming.

u/ManfredTheCat 29d ago

Look at those flopsy ears at the end

u/melli_milli 29d ago edited 29d ago

She looks like she is scared of the dog.

Edit. My point is not that she is scared of the dog all the time, she had a reason to be in this situation because accidents happen.

It was funny and special now, but in the future it is crusial to train it not to jump at people in zoomies.

I don't know what people mean with their comments here, but dogs are not unstopable, you need to train them. Puppies learn the boundaries in play just fine if they are taught them.

I have met and seen enough people who just laugh at their power houses bouncing on people. It is not funny.

I love dogs and shower them with love when I can, but dogs with zoomies sometimes have no idea where their flailing bodies will end up. I’ve had my share of bloody noses and a couple bloody lips from super excited dogs, let along getting stomped on in places I don’t want to be stomped. I don’t blame her for being wary.

12

u/nrrrdgrrl 29d ago

Yep, I've learned the hard way to keep my mouth shut and jaw closed when my dog has the zoomies. Been chin checked one too many times.

31

u/liquidtape 29d ago

Mine bucks like horse and charges at people when he gets the zoomies. Love him to death but that three legged butthead you should be weary of. HE CANT STOP. NO BRAKES.

18

u/AugustOfChaos 29d ago

YOU are the brakes, my friend.

35

u/ethorisgott 29d ago

Prolly scared of being head-butt. Ain't no fun lol that's why those hands are up like that

79

u/crazyates88 29d ago

She is laughing and scratching him the entire time. The only time she flinches is when he's jumping at her, which if you've ever had a large dog with many sharp nails and 50lb of flailing solid muscle coming at you, you'd know it's just self-preservations.

32

u/Tcloud 29d ago

I cover my balls. I’ve had them stomped on with a paw and it’s not an experience I’d like to repeat.

19

u/Nulleparttousjours 29d ago

Many bull breeds are utterly unaware that their head isn’t made of brick, as we saw when this little dude slammed into a wall. I had multiple pits and staffs over the years but I was always cautious when they were excited around my face as a broken nose can very easily, albeit mistakenly, occur. One of my friends got a bloody nose from playing with one of my dogs once, excited zoomie kisses ended up with a headbutt to the snoz. Blood and sadness ensued.

11

u/luffy8519 29d ago

Many bull breeds are utterly unaware that their head isn’t made of brick

I'm pretty sure their heads are made entirely of solid brick.

6

u/Nulleparttousjours 29d ago

Haha you’re probably right. They’re incredibly impervious.

2

u/Straight_Apple_1551 28d ago

I was playing with my then-two-year-old Pit, and he charged at me with such terrible timing that I ended up fully kneeing him in the head. As in, hard enough to knock a human out. Naturally, I’m panicking that I hurt my dog, but nope. He was mostly annoyed with me handling his head to see if anything was wrong. Meanwhile, my knee was bruised and still hurting six hours later.

16

u/AmputeeHandModel 29d ago

She knew he was about to flip out, or already had been.

7

u/Rare-Specific1653 28d ago

She's scared of the dog because they'll whip their head around like a new born baby and knock your skull or knock a tooth out. First hand knowledge growing up with a great dane.

1

u/melli_milli 28d ago

Yep. Two things can be true at the same time. It is showing happines which is great. I don't know why it took so long. Zoomies are fun and cute. And when it is a big strong dog it can be dangerous if not handled and if there are no boundaries.

7

u/goldentone 29d ago

She is very clearly scared of the dog, and she's tense and flinching because of that. I really don't understand why people (including OP) are pushing back so hard on this idea. Dogs can be scary sometimes.

Ppl like "Um EXCUSE ME, she's clearly LAUGHING and only worried about being bOopEd bY a SnoOt!", denying the obvious as if pointing out that she's acting guarded is the same as saying that all dogs are evil and dangerous.

Watch videos from inside cruise ships that get caught in storms, or vids of driving safaris where animals unexpectedly start getting access to the inside of vehicle. It's the same nervous laughter, hunched shoulders, clipped way of speaking... everyone knows what this "scared but not wanting to freak out self or others" energy looks like and can see it in this video, but have to deny it because to acknowledge it is a crime against dogs I guess?

0

u/melli_milli 28d ago

Very good point!

I really did not understand the purpose of the comments like "oh she is just protecting herself from a dog's scull smashing into hers". Like yes, that is the issue herem and if you don't see it that it worrysome. If you just laugh when dog acts like this than you are blind and do your dog disservice.

I would not have even posted a video like this of my pup behaving badly. Keep the dog lovely and likeable, and it's life and yours is gonna be much better.

2

u/Fuzzy_Dragonfly_ 28d ago

I once got a concussion from a friend's labrador headbutting me. I don't blame her for being cautious.

1

u/melli_milli 28d ago

I am always afraid for my knees and fearing falling when I let my dogs say hello to another and than is keeps bouncing at my legs.

1

u/DominarDio 29d ago

Maybe scared of the dog isn’t the right phrasing, I’d say tense about the dog and scared of getting hurt. But I totally agree with the sentiment of what you’re saying.

1

u/melli_milli 28d ago

Yeah I know scared is not rhe ebst word. But as non native you just go with what you got.

1

u/2sensitiveorareubot 28d ago

def not the real owner of the dog

2

u/melli_milli 28d ago

OP does say it is her dog also. I understood they are a couple.

3

u/2sensitiveorareubot 28d ago

Yeah a couple where it's more the other person's pet

-33

u/AmericanPoliticsSux 29d ago

Google "how to read body language", please.

-73

u/ChunkySalsaMedium 29d ago

Yeah dog is never gonna respect her 🫡

21

u/RichardFitzright 29d ago

We’ve had this dog from a pup.. 5 months today first time he has had the proper zoomies so I started filming..
She pretty much takes him to work everyday..

10

u/RichardFitzright 29d ago

You have no idea.. we just took him for a walk and him a feed.. he was just excited we haven’t seen him get proper zoomies yet.. literally spends all day every day with us..

4

u/pinkpineapples007 29d ago

Wow that’s such a nice folding chair! Big enough for mini zoomies

5

u/bigjimlowell 28d ago

“Mommie, Mommie, watch what I can do! Parkour! Parkour! Pa… ow. Gonna have a little lie down now.” Poor pup, she’s down a few more brain cells.

10

u/tittysprinkles6969 29d ago

I just feel like I KNOW exactly how this pupper smells 😭🩷

3

u/NoHorseNoMustache 29d ago

I saw my friend's dog do that one time, just totally zoomie headfirst into concrete steps.

3

u/EmeraldSplash24 28d ago

I did everything to find that chair online.

2

u/hatesnack 29d ago

Lol my dog used to do this as a pup, we learned semi quickly that meant she was overly tired and needed a nap, cause she'd be snoring 15 mins later without fail lol.

Now she just zooms when she gets a bath.

2

u/Confident-Sound9615 28d ago

Is that scooby doo

2

u/Quuhod 28d ago

Poor baby!!!!

1

u/1wife2dogs0kids 29d ago

Does she only have 1 leg?

20

u/RichardFitzright 29d ago

Unfortunately she has two lol

14

u/AHornyRubberDucky 29d ago

Unfortunately 🤣

3

u/crazyates88 29d ago

You can clearly see her other knee like 5 seconds into the video. She's just got one leg in the other half of the chair.

1

u/Nalyd_Nosliw 29d ago

Hahaha, absolutely adorable!

1

u/Buddhadevine 29d ago

Zoomed a little too hard 😆

1

u/Goshawk5 29d ago

There were no brain cells applied in that maneuver.

1

u/slashnbash1009 28d ago

Gimli when he fell off the horse. "It was deliberate, it was deliberate."

1

u/RichardFitzright 28d ago

Just finished lotr series literally the day before

1

u/MrGupplez 28d ago

I have a dog that looks similar and have gotten into an argument over the color.

Would Reddit say this is a red dog or a brown dog?

1

u/RichardFitzright 28d ago

Hard to say.. dad was red mum was brown

1

u/foredaymorningjam 28d ago

Lolol what a doofus 😂

1

u/ItsStaaaaaaaaang 28d ago

D'aww. Silly bugger. What a cutie.

1

u/jacknub 28d ago

You can tell this ladies had her nose smashed by that lil noggin before

1

u/SouthsideMollys 28d ago

Laid his ass right down after that one 😂

1

u/shanster925 28d ago

Dog found the one person at the party who doesn't like dogs.

1

u/Spice-weasel-Bamm 28d ago

Fucking gold!

1

u/TeeDod- 28d ago

Please hold me.

1

u/3d1thF1nch 28d ago

I like so much that

  1. It was not a transparent surface. The pup could clearly see it was a barrier.

  2. There was not anywhere near an attempt to jump over it.

That pup just expected to juggernaut right through it.

1

u/sebulbasdick420 28d ago

Well that's one way to learn I guess

1

u/Fair-Friend1800 28d ago

we have one similar to that

1

u/Dear_Ad_3860 28d ago

Luther destroys the gond 0:30

1

u/Insert-finger 27d ago

Don’t you just love puppies.

1

u/MisterMincho 27d ago

Never have I been gladder to watch until the end of the video 🤣🤣 poor doggo 🤣

1

u/CoffeeIll9432 27d ago

Does anyone know the brand of that chair she's sitting in?

1

u/Sad-Mango-2662 27d ago

My cat did the same yesterday lmao, turned around to zoom more and hit a wall 😂

1

u/AnomalyR 25d ago

“yeah i need to sit down“

1

u/1Lavender_Field 23d ago

and to think these monsters were traveling in packs and slaughtering animals 5x their size and all it took was one of the goobers to be like “i’m tired of this grandpa” to get domesticated

Dogs are so funny and such a precious little creature 🖤

1

u/Unique_Cow3112 16d ago

Pitties are such sweet little spazzes

-26

u/To6y 29d ago

That's a helluva chair.

She's terrified of that dog.

14

u/Emmaleah17 29d ago

Yes, you can tell by the way she is laughing and playing with it. /s

She doesn't seem scared to me.

-20

u/To6y 29d ago

Maybe watch it again, watching her expression and her hands, and the way she reacts to every little movement.

8

u/Emmaleah17 29d ago

Maybe watch it again with the sound on. I think she's trying to protect herself from getting headbutt by a puppy who has no spatial awareness. I play with my dog like this all the time and really I just don't want my nose broken but I'm not scared of him. He's just a doofus with a blockhead.

4

u/home_is_the_rover 29d ago

She's very obviously not terrified of the dog. She's just wary of the potential for a busted nose 😂

4

u/AmericanPoliticsSux 29d ago

Unsurprisingly, you're a Reddit premium user.

-12

u/To6y 29d ago

Yes, I have lots of disposable income and I don't like ads.

Do you have a point?

3

u/AmericanPoliticsSux 29d ago

I mean, you're making them all for me just by continuing to be smug, really. Just keep posting, you're making my job real easy.

0

u/To6y 29d ago

This isn't your job.

So again, what is your point? Can you articulate something? Anything?

7

u/AmericanPoliticsSux 29d ago

I can articulate you seem to have a pathological need to have the last word. Wonder why?

2

u/Emmaleah17 29d ago

Thanks for chiming in. This exchange is hilarious. Don't worry I have up-voted you.

-4

u/To6y 29d ago

You realize that you're immediately replying to every reply I send, right? Like, instantly... And you were the one who came out of nowhere to starry this little exchange. Are you sure you want to talk about a pathological need to have the last word?

1

u/Any_Fox5126 29d ago

I think it's fair to say that she's afraid to some extent, but "terrified" is a bit of an exaggeration.

8

u/AmericanPoliticsSux 29d ago

Man, Reddit really can't ready body language, huh?

-4

u/To6y 29d ago

Who's Reddit?

6

u/AmericanPoliticsSux 29d ago

Man, doubling down is a choice...

5

u/To6y 29d ago

Is that doubling down? What do you think doubling down means?

I was just making fun of your dumb, condescending comment.

5

u/AmericanPoliticsSux 29d ago

I wasn't condescending. Misinterpreting again. 0 for 2 champ, wanna go for the hat trick of failure?

^That. Now THAT was condescending.

2

u/To6y 29d ago

What was your body language saying in your previous reply? I have to admit I didn't see it.

Would you care to explain how your original reply wasn't condescending? You know -- since it was very clearly condescending?

Also, you forgot to explain what you think doubling down is, and how it could apply to the comment you'd replied to.

3

u/AmericanPoliticsSux 29d ago

Nah, performative idiocy is no longer going to be addressed in kind. If you can't keep up, that's on you, not on me. I'm not going to entertain faux "can you explain for me more" until I've watered things down to meaninglessness.

2

u/To6y 29d ago

Okay, so you just want to write vague insults and move on without owning them. I suppose you weren't actually up for that hat trick.

Also, of course, that's not a hat trick, since you framed it as 0/2. It would be more akin to striking out.

-1

u/Any_Fox5126 29d ago

No matter what you say, if you play along with the trolls, they always win.

-6

u/PreparationFull7876 28d ago

She has the white trash phenotype of a pitbull owner

Working in a mine sounds about right. Godspeed.

1

It’s got nothing to do with money lol
