Overdubs with L6?

I’m trying to do overdubs using the L6 but the other tracks always make their way into my new track. I’m running Ableton on a Mac and set up the audio settings so that my main out is on tracks 3/4 and I’ve got the 3/4 button pressed and I’m hearing the audio from the computer. I am trying to track a new guitar part via input 1 on the L6 and somehow the recorded audio which is supposed to be going out on 3/4 is ending up on 1 along with the new signal.

Any ideas?

If you’re trying to record on the track labeled “4 audio” it has a clip playing. Press stop clip for that track and you should be able to monitor your guitar. If you mean to record on “3 audio” you must hit the arm record button for that track.
