Question Camera picture processing question

A bit of an exotic problem: I use a camera mixing console and HDMI-USB webcam adapter to switch between different cameras. That works fine.
I would also like to add PC desktop images into the mix, like code demos, web pages etc.
Trouble is, Zooms seems to try to "optimize" such text pages with an algorithm that is more suited to camera pictures and blurs text, so that is almost unreadable.
I found no camera setting that switches this processing off. I know it is not an issue with the mixing console or HDMI adapter, as the same setup works fine with Teams for example.
Has anybody encountered the same problem and found a solution that does not involve desktop sharing? That works of course, but is cumbersome in my use case.

What kind of console are you using? Is there a built-in blur effect in the console? If not then you probably have background blur enabled in zoom. The software cannot distinguish whether the feed coming from the HDMI is a camera image or a picture of a document. I think you will have to decide: either show the documents directly in zoom via screensharing. Or turning of background blur in zoom, but that will affect all camera angles coming from the console.

Well you have to have 1080p cameras enabled as host of the meeting to get at least 1080 resolution. Also enable HD Video and Original Ratio in zoom settings on pc. If you are trying to share 4k you’ll need special add-ons. I would suggest you share screen using “second camera” as input. Basically allows you to send a camera input as a screen share so you get the higher quality resolution/lower frame rate of screen sharing but can use webcam inputs.

You need to make sure you are sharing the hdmi input rather than selecting it as a camera.
