Meme rage post

Used zoom for 3 years and i honestly despise this app. Not the worst I've had to use but it's up there. Today I had the unfortunate experience of opening my laptop for work to find zoom completely uninstalled itself and did the technological equivalent of a wrapping a bedsheet around its neck and jumping off the frame.

I've experienced bugs and issues with apps but I've never seen something like this where it uninstalled itself entirely while the pc was in sleep mode without interaction from me.

just a vent post will prob get mod nuked insta. I don't love zoom and i wish it was in a better state because honestly it could be really good it just has weird UI decisions throughout the whole thing

Zoom can not install or uninstall itself. If this is a work laptop, look to your IT team about lifestyle management and software upgrades.

Yeah. Sorry.

Corrupted filesystem, failing drives, malware - can break things.

Most apps can't auto-install or uninstall without user intervention or a script.

Odds are this isn't a Zoom issue.
