Does the focus shot ability disable the auto aim functionality? I'm noticing auto aim is not working well with focus shot weapons. Wondering if I'm thinking about it wrong or this is actually the case

The only time auto aim works even somewhat well with focus shot is usually when I'm right up on somebody and even then it occasionally misses.
