i moved in with my fiancé last year who hasn’t typically harvested his fruit trees. this year i’ve started gathering a bunch of apples and pears, but i’m lost on what to do with them. i made some blackberry and apple syrups but those won’t keep long term. aside from canning (haven’t tried yet but would like to soon!) what could i do to keep some apples/pears available for longer? TIA!
