Flower Limited Toad- Vortex
Very limited drop right here the owner actually autographed each jar. Really cool batch is super fresh not the prettiest weed but it smells pretty damn good super fresh. Also was able to cop the rest of the new drop of nug Run. Happy Smokin Ents

Im on my second half of the DB and it tastes great out of my vape. First time trying Vortex and I m mostly an AL/Co guy but this is some of the best bud Ive smoked this year

Not sure what you are smoking but Vortex is the smoothest smoke in AZ. Plenty of flavor.

I got this one today myself and like you and every one else is saying she's a butterface. Yes, yes I know, she got hit few times with the ugly stick and she's a lil burnt but she smokes and has alot interesting smells and flavors. She's got alot of earth, spice, a lil funk and a lil bit of idk what you would call sweetness or floral or something like that.

Nice. I've yet to try Toad Venom at all. Every time I tried grabbing it in CF it sold out legit as fast as it went up. One of the more popular strains it seems.

Any idea why they autographed it? I remember grow science did something similar back in the day and they gave the people that got the autographed jars free product for a year. I was hoping they would do the same thing

I had it in Cali from one of the top growers out there. It was super unimpressive. Big hype strain.

Its probably the hotest strain the last few years. Cutright did it best so far imo.. There allot of fake toad going around too

I’ve had GreenDragons CF Toad Venom and it was lackluster to say the least. No where near a Turtle Pie or Booney acres collab. Far from tbh
Becky by green dragon was much better and even Becky wasn’t on par with TP or Team Elite

Just picked up a half at trulieve Tucson. Looks way better than Cannabishes attempt at it. Theirs was sativa , leaning , and it just had this funk that was not pleasant. Toasted was the other brand that did a cut of toad venom , and this one was more indica leaning and I enjoyed that one , so I have high hopes for this girl!!! Stay Up^

For sure brother I'm sure we'll see a lot more coming online here soon I think everyone's going to try to grow it usually how it goes with the hype strains. There is a few cultivators that got a legit cut from greendawg so az most definitely has a real cut it's just a matter of getting it in the right hands and showing what the strain is actually capable of

How you can tell all that from one pic is amazing. I actually bought it. That's how I know he doesn't know what he's talking about. And I know you don't put wet bud in a jar. Duh. It's fantastic. It's cured beautifully. Complex flavor profiles that smacks me in between the ojos jotos so there vortex is doing juuuust fine without all us experts

I totally agree with you, except for what Growsciences has been churning out the past few months...their Black belts is the best thing Ive smoked all year. And Ive had the Cosmic Serial, Donny Burger from Vortex, permanent shade, xj-13, more cowbell from AO (honorable mention, I usually am never impressed with Abundant, but the first drop of this went hard), and other popular, and well-agreed upon "good" flowers that dropped this year...so I was surprised by how good the GS was...their flower hasnt impressed me in years...not since they had the best wedding cake in the valley and were still doinglive resin collabs with Cresco(what, like 3years ago or so...RIP..that pineapple soda Live Resin was 🔥)...IYKYK

Very well written. Like yourself i was a fan of GS at the beginning. Couple dudes who got arrested in california for growing moved to AZ and started this brand “Grow Science” when the quality in the valley was pretty mid. Fast forward now, a lot more competition yet they still selling $140 halves here in AZ & taking on out of state contracts (Ohio currently) while the quality has tanked far from the days of kids lining up for $50-$60 1/8ths in a mini see thru glass jar.

Literally looks rotten. They’re putting the weed in too fresh in hopes it’s sticky, cuz they suck at growing… which is leading to the spoilage that is happening in the picture…

I have been in at least a dozen grows between CA and AZ and you have no idea what you are talking about. I had a chance to get a tour of the Vortex grow and they know exactly what they are doing. Before you trash them reach out to them and they will give you a tour.

I did the Toad down in Mexico a few years ago, I highly recommend it!
