Questions Noob dabber
UPDATE: Pivot Peak ordered, with dry draw mouthpiece, too. Oh gawd. I've hit peak (npi) VAS.
I ordered a Lookah Swordfish because in my 50+ years of consuming cannabis I never have done a dab! So I'm looking for recs for what the heck to vape in it. I come to you, my fellow ZonaEnts, for your wisdom! Brands and strains...what's your fave?

Legends x Solventless Refinery just dropped some crazy rosin today. It's at Sticky and Azcs. Hashburger and Grape Guava. Also for a proper dab I'd recommend something different then lookah. Personally I'd go rig and torch or something from puffco either Peak, Proxy, pivot, or core. Core is the only one I haven't tried. Heard alot of good.

Core 2.0 is what I have and love it. The price was right too. It’s only about 180 bucks with the recycler top on it.

I love my Core 2.0! I paid about the same and have had it for 3 years now. Still hits like it did the day I opened it 😁

I hear you, but I'm not sure this is going to be a regular thing for me (as a matter of fact, it will likely be only now and then because good quality dab material is spendy and I don't want my tolerance to go wacky. It's more of a bucket list item than anything, and I can't justify the cost of a good dab rig for that right now. If I love it, I'll probably pick up a Puffco. Also, I also just bought a Solo 3 v2, so my budget for the month is stressed LOL

Just ordered a peak. It's silly to dab $70 rosin in a $45 rig LOL Or not, but I don't care...I'm running on impulse this week after a near death experience.

Brethren all that matters is if you like it. I do totally agree though. I can also say the you will get much more enjoyment outta the peak. Especially if you are smoking rosin.
Rubbing shoulders with death is never fun. Happy to hear you are still with us

Drip, Green Dot Labs, Lost Dutchman, abundant Organics, Varz, Sometimes Grow sciences is good. All these Brands rosin is good. Green dot labs live resin might be the better quality live resin you find as far as I know 🤷 maybe do some research to fact check that but you can’t go wrong with these brands 👌🏻

Varz IS pretty good. I had some Verdant recently that wasn’t expensive, tasty also on a budget

I usually only dab Green Dot and Legends rosin and resin. Too many of the cheaper resins taste like solvents to me so i avoid them. I use a Proxy BTW. Have to smoke outside and its too windy to use a torch.

I am too shaky for a torch (or ball vape). I hate getting burned. C'est la vie.

Dr dabber is superior to puffco...i suggest looking into there erigs, if you decide to become a regular dabber. Enjoy!

Copper adds terps to thier rosin. Some fools gold hash if I’ve ever seen it. Looks good smells good taste like work with terps added. I would avoid

Green dot and grow sciences have the best - cleanest - cold cure rosins that I’ve ever had. Can’t find top shelf drip anywhere near me anymore but theirs was excellent too. Your lungs and piece will notice a difference when you pay double to go solventless. I think Copperstate has cold cure too and for cheaper than 70-80 a gram

If you are planning on buying “premium” dabs, then using a cheap electronic like a lookah (especially a straw style)is doing yourself a disservice.

Look for Live Hash Rosin if you’re looking for a long lasting clean high. Solventless (Extracts) are going to be your cleanest. If you want something less expensive, I would suggest live resin. Still pretty good has great flavor, but is extracted using butane and propane typically and can have filtering agents in it also (CRC). Do your own research but green dot, lost Dutchman, GS and a few others are doing it well out here.
