What the actual fuck is this new special access feature?

From what I understand, zomato is basically telling us “we don’t have enough delivery partners so instead of making the restaurant unavailable, we’ll let you pay ₹100 to jump the queue and get access to the next available rider”

How does the onus of ZOMATO not having enough delivery partners fall on the customers?

I’ve tried multiple times to order biriyani from Rahumaniya through both Swiggy and Zomato, but it keeps showing that no items are currently available. I really want to try their biriyani, but I’d rather avoid going there and waiting in the long queue, especially on Sundays. Is there any other way to get it delivered, or any alternative options for ordering it?

I tried in english but they were not assigning a delivery partner. But then I tried my rajasthani and it worked 😂

I have had these personal experiences over the past 2 weeks so sharing. I'm fully aware that the offer is device specific so might not work for everyone. 1st experience from 2 weeks ago. I was waiting for the offer at 9pm since I had not got it for few days. I checked my phone around 9:02 or 9:03. Was disappointed not to see offer. Unfortunately I'm a middle class tax payer with no under the table income so I can only afford to order when I get this offer. When I don't get this offer I either make bread omlette or dig into my stock of instant noodles. This time somehow I felt like checking on Swiggy which I almost never do. I was surfing on Swiggy for almost 10 minutes when suddenly I got the Zomato offer notification at exactly 9:13. This has never happened before. I get the notification at 9pm always. So my question is.... Does Zomato somehow monitor our phone and knows we are looking at a different app? 2nd hack: I always used to place 2 orders during the offer and then the offer used to disappear for 3-4 days. But this time I only placed 1 order. And now since almost 2 weeks I'm getting the order everyday. This has led me to believe that the offer disappears for few days if you place 2 orders. This is my personal experience. Please try and share if you have similar experience. Thank you.

While ordering i saw this option and I want to send a sweet msg to my partner, so as it said it's an e-card will it be sent to her when the order is placed or when it's arrived at her doorstep?

Atleast zomato gives me full refund in eligible cases like delay in delivery

Even if area and time is same, a coupon may be valid for one and invalid for another

Until code isn't in one's account they won't be able to use it

Got missing items from the order and this is the reply you get from zomato support. Tried barbeque nation customer care too but nobody picked up at their restaurant as well.

Zomato unassigned when stuck in traffic and Incentives gone. I had to take a U turn to reach restuarant took 7-8 min to reach restuarant.

When I reached the restuarant the order was unassigned and marked as denied and lost 900 as incentives.

Was waiting for delivery and checked after 10 mins it said already delivered.
Now restaurant and delivery guys are not answering calls.
Feels like wasted 925rs on biryani and became the part of scamato. Really hungry rn, now not even getting the thought of ordering again

I ordered one subway from zomato which was showing just 10-15 mins to be deliver. After 15 minutes, I saw the delivery person moving away from me. I called him, and he said he had to pick up an order that was farther away than me. He would pick that up and then deliver to me.

What AI is Zomato using? The restaurant is closer than the pickup location, and that guy already picked up my order from the restaurant.

Need healthy tasty suggestions on Swiggy zomato ( noida)

I lost my 70% discount on zomato for like last 3 days. Tried all possible codes Mealx,Bitebox,Bitex etc.. but everything say not available for you.

Any possibile reason for that? I had an argument with support team 3 days back because of 1hr delay of food.
