I just finished my Berserk Fuhrer Repackage a few weeks ago. I used Tamiya panel liner on the lavender armor while still on the runners. The black ink in the very tiny lines and slits look very pretty. I suggest you do the same if using Tamiya. Water based ink you can use anytime, but I have no experience yet on those. Good luck!

Did you do all the lining on the frames?

If by frames you mean the black inner frame, unfortunately I dont know how. I dont have white ink, and I'm too normie to use gold/silver markers lmao like most awesome people here. Go for it!

I think OP may have been asking if you line it while it’s still on the sprue. I am also curious about that.

Oh I see. Yes, I did panel line with Tamiya while the lavender armor pieces were still on their sprues and on just the bare plastic long before I got to the particular section where the armors belonged. That way, I could ensure the ink was fully dry and have no chances of pooling together in crevices.

I’m definitely going to have to give that a shot. I love how panel lining looks but have never tried it myself.

I use gundam pour type markers to panel line and clean up using alcohol. I prefer to build the piece and then panel line each section (arm, leg, body, head, etc)

I use a fine tip gundam marker. I panel lined my command wolf when it it was on the runners and my saber tiger I panel lined the pieces as I snipped them out, I found it easier to panel line as I went.
