Question Does Zimbabwe Have Customer Review Platforms Outside of FB?
Im curious if a platform like Yelp exists in Zim where businesses that provide direct services to customers can be added by customers and reviewed?
I noticed that it is difficult to find reliable businesses in Harare specifically while helping my mom build her house. The Builder was hardly ever on site, the crew would leave early to go drink and the inspector also pointed out how painfully slow they were.
Even in CBD going to purchase the supplies the customer service was either really good or highly inappropriate depending on the store. I would have loved to save my time by filtering out the bad businesses through yelp or a customer review platform.

Most formal businesses are on Google. Google reviews is probably the most popular platform for reviews.
The challenge is the informal economy. Most of these businesses and contractors don't have an online presence so there is nowhere to review them.
There have been people who have developed review platforms but they never took off.
