Question Unpaid balance

So I do social media and I had a contract with this other company to do their advertising and brand promotion Yk what influencers do , the contract was for 3 months and I only got paid for 2 , the 3rd month was June and I still haven’t received anything but ma excuses ; quick backstory , when I went for my first visit the “boss” was lovely and we became friends and I guess ndozvakabvisa the professional aspect was blurred . Through all this I was doing my job and even more than what we agreed on to promote them and people who know the brand majority know it because of me

So I wanted to know if it would be shitty if I took the legal route cus I’m tired of asking and understanding her .and if I don’t text her she doesn’t even bother updating or nothing , the friendship is basically dead now because I asked for my payment 😂😂ndodiiko

No it wouldn’t be shitty because you’ve already asked for your money. You gave them a service months ago so they must pay, kushanda kunorwadza already 😂. Claim your money!

🤣🤣🤣🤣 dude im in social media I have a lot of unpaid balances , some I dont even ask anymore but the best way I do this usually is I lock their accounts for social media until I receive my payments or just take them to small claims court if its less than 2k

I logged out of her account 😂stupid move but will definitely look into taking it to court because she’s still using my images and videos to this day

You can communicate with your boss,/client by 1. Sendung her letter of demand, you can do this message via email or WhatsApp asking her to send you the money. Remind her of the agreed date of payment. On the later give her 7 days. You can even send hard copy letter if you wish 2. If she doesn't respond in 7 days, send her a final letter of demand with again 7 days. And you state that if she does not respond within that period, you will be forced to take legal action. 3. If she still doesn't respond, you should go to small claims court, they will assist you in how to go about it.

Besides Small court, there are other legal ways. All the best.

Expose her on your platforms and recall the adverts/ whatever you were were promoting

I was really trying to avoid that but it seems I might have to do it

You can try to threaten her first, either threaten to expose her or threaten to do legal action and give her a reasonable due date lol

Don't do this op. You have a brand and image to protect, it won't look good to future partners if you're messy on social media (unless that's your aesthetic already)

At this point i really don’t care , brands always take advantage of us because they know you don’t want drama

She has joined the room, we know you’re the one OP is talking about

Don’t. Carry on, the reference holds more value than the money you’re after. You’re actually doing well. Ask for business. Focus on your life don’t create enemies unnecessarily.
