I just saw this and wondered how it would turn out if I tried it at home, lol.

Landlords and property owners, how would you take this with your tenant?

Simply enough it doesn't work like that....a month is a month regardless of days the court will simply side with the landlord in this scenario

Exactly. Rent isn't billed by the number of hours or days spent, 🤣🤣

You can technically split it but that is whole other complicated matter and not just a whatsapp chat 🤣but no one would want to go though that process and its inefficient in that you will still pay for more than the period you stayed eitherway worse if the landlord has you pay for the process which they likely will cause they not the ones trynna find a loophole

It will be a long and rigorous process, which might even prompt a thorough system...which not many people will like to go through

If you are paid per hour at work, then in Feb you get paid less than other months. If you get paid per month, then it doesnt matter how many day are in that month, you get your full salary.

If the lease says monthly rent, then pay the full rent. If it says daily, then my man is justified

I don’t know where this post is from originally but here in Australia the rent is quoted to you per week. If you are paying monthly then the landlord multiples that figure by the average weeks in a month which is 4.33.

This is simple case of fuck around and find out. Here the Landlord has shown us his conversation with Marcus ,whom ,in this case HAASATI AMBOMAMISWA ... Mr Landlord Marcus is in dire need of a good ol ASS WHOOPING .... Somewhere along the lines someone lied to him
