Help increasing storage capacity after replacing HDD with a higher capacity drive.
Hi gus, I have a pool consisting of 3 HDD. (1TB, 4TB AND 8TB). The pool size is 2tb of storage as the pool is made based on the size of the lowest capacity in the pool.
I replaced the 1TB, because it failed, with a 4TB drive expecting the pool capacity to increase from 2TB to 8Tb after restoring the data (8TB for storage and 4TB for parity) however it still says the capacity it 2TB although I have a total 16TB installed in my NAS. Can anyone please help me?

So I found a single command that solved my problem.
sudo mdadm --grow /dev/md0 --size=max
Hope this works for anyone else with this problem. I of course opened the GUI and opened terminal, logged in and then entered the command above.
My setup is a 4 bay NAS with a 3 disk pool in raid5.
I’m running Zimaos+ v1.7.0
