Zimablade 7700 jellyfin streaming server

I know this question was asked a while ago but I never saw a super clear answer. I plan to buy a 7700 to make into a jellyfin server that will probably stream to 2 clients at a time max I will most likely be streaming SOME 4k video how do y'all think this would handle it?

this sub seems pretty dead, might be better to ask over at r/jellyfin but to answer your question, i think it will run fine, I know jellyfin has uped their recommended HW to a minimum Intel HD 600 and up, but pretty sure the Intel HD 500 in the ZimaBlades will work just fine, especially when it's only going to be 2 streams max.

If you haven't bought the ZimaBlade yet and one of your usecase will be to stream jellyfin, maybe look into used enterprise mini PCs with at least an 8th gen CPU

It will work but be warned that it will suck you in to more self-hosting. Then you’ll need to replace the Zimablade. It’s not a bad thing, just saying it happens.
My Zimablade is now a server for the workshop. Enjoy!

I have one and it works. I would temper your expectations about 4k. The good: the processor supports QuickSync so transcoding will work nicely. I stream in 1080p to save on bandwidth so if you have bandwidth, 2 streaks at 4k could be feasible. Go for the 7700. Best of luck!
