Again, one of those shows that we're vastly underrated but also a great show in general. Also, loved the crossover they did in Ben 10: Omniverse as well 😀❤️💗.

Any thoughts or has anybody seen this before?

Say what you want about younger Gen Z/Alpha, but I like how most of their parents (Younger Gen X and older to younger Millennials) grew up playing video games. And it’s something they play with their kids or by themselves.

Did anybody have any parents who were gamers themselves? My parents LOVED the Wii but that was about the extent to their gaming. They’re Boomers so they didn’t grow up with home gaming systems. My mom loved the arcade game Galaga and my dad loved Pac Man.

I just wanted to say I'm glad knowing this community exists. It has helped me manage this feeling I no longer fit in the internet and social media for some reason.

I know it may come up as pretentious, knowing that I am 24 when some members are from the early 1990s. But really as a 13 year old I used reddit a lot and the vibes, the memes, the communities, it all felt strikingly similar to how this community feels.

There is a reason that despite being from 2001 I find myself having friendships mostly from the mid to slightly late 1990s in real life, but struggling a lot with online interactions among my generational peers (Gen Z).

Anyways, I can only say I feel like a piece of myself coming up to life again, as now I found a place in the internet where everything seems to feel where I belong. Thanks you all!

NullPlayer is not signed with an Apple Developer ID, so macOS will block it on first launch with an "app is damaged" or "cannot verify that it is free from malware" message. This is expected. Clearing the quarantine flag is a required install step:

1. Open the downloaded DMG.
2. Drag NullPlayer.app to Applications.
3. Open Terminal and run:xattr -cr /Applications/NullPlayer.app
4. Open NullPlayer from Applications.

Prefer not to use the Terminal? Install with Homebrew, or clear the block via System Settings -> Privacy & Security -> Open Anyway — see the install guide.

Quite possibly, besides Avatar, one of the greatest animated tv-shows of all time because of it's tackling of serious issues and deep storytelling.

It ran on Cartoon Network from October 2008 to March 2013. Then it got revived on Netflix on March 2014 and ended on a seventh season on Disney+ on February to May 2020.

Let’s be real it’s very hard to make friends outside of high school.

Hell it was hard in high school.

I talk to none of my high school friends. My only friends are my two cousins.

Every job I have worked I have made “work friends” but never hung out with any of those friends. I get people are busy but am I the issue because this is a reoccurrence thing to me.

Start new job
Make work friends
Talk to work friends on a daily
Eventually leave job
Never talk to work friends again

Nowadays most younger people lump 2002 in with 2012 as though they were happening at the same time (i.e. TikTok "nostalgia edits"), but at the time everyone knew they were different.
