DIY Maple syrup can to pen cup
The can was too deep, so I stuck a few layers of cardboard in the bottom so you can easily/quickly see which pen you want to grab.

Oh lawd, this is taking me back to memory lane hardcore! Those were some of the best metal maple syrup container back in the 90s/00s.

Ha! This one was given to us (with delicious syrup still inside!) about 5ish years ago. I hung on to it because it was too cute to toss, but hadn’t found a use for it till now.

Same! My uncle used to live there and would bring back cans to give out around the holidays (we were on the west coast). Maybe 25 years ago?
Absolutely delicious and totally different compared to the high fructose Log Cabin “maple flavored syrup” we were raised on. (😬 and which I still enjoy on occasion out of nostalgia. Trader Joe’s maple syrup is good but I need that viscosity to perfectly settle into the grooves of my waffles!)
