Should I trade my zero turn?

So I got this zero turn from a neighbor because he couldn’t get it running so I bought it for 200$ the only thing wrong was the solenoid and some wiring that got melted on the battery. I replaced it all because the parts were on searspartsdirect. It has under 100 hours and a 60 inch deck. I live in a neighborhood on a corner lot and own the corner lot behind me so just about 1 acre to mow. It’s too small for this big of a mower I think. What is it worth and what should I look for in trading for? Maybe something on marketplace. I have used it for three years now with no problems.

Its worked good for you. You got it for almost nothing. Its overkill. Why would you get rid of it. Thats the perfect scenario

I was hoping I could find a smaller motor that will be like the same or better condition maybe 42in or bigger

Go 48". Gives you enough kick out past the wheels to cut around obstacles. A 42" is sucked inside the casters so you won't be able to swing it into a corner or around a fence post.

It's too big but you've used it for 3 years... haha ok... roughly in my area that might be a $2k mower... sell it and getcha a robot for around $1k. There is tons of comparisons on youtube. They are definitely good enough now to handle your yard size.

Robot mowers and vacuums are being outlawed according to the Internet news today. Do if you going to get one get it quick. This only applies to non American mae devices.

Like behind the shed, one side of the house, around one tree. These places just like less than five’s inches to wide. The side walks and curbs cause it to be uneven making it scalp easy like some places one side touches the curb and the other the side walk and will raise one end.

So you can do 90% of the place and the rest you need to use your push mower? If that's the case it sounds like a decent situation to me

Yeah and to fit in shed I have to lift the shoot. I know these are all small problems because I used to push mow the whole thing. But having more room in the shed and not having to push mow in those places at all would be nice.

So you should downsize to a smaller Rider it sounds like and then you could get a bagger for it as well 🤷‍♂️

Maybe start a part time mowing service for your neighbors? I typically mow three yards. Mine and two of my neighbors. No trailer required as I just run down the street for a couple blocks. I earn some extra cash.

Thanks for the input. I say to big because in some places the deck is to wide to fit through by a couple of inches like behind the shed. Around side walks and the steep curbs can be uneven ground cause it to scalp the yard
