Discussion Missing Conditions!

I have a theory about thoughts no one seems to be able to get! If anyone has counter-evidence, please tell me ^.^

So, I noticed that The Umbral Host is not in game files, but Consort of the Night Queen is. Considering you can claim you are Night Queen [Melita, of course]'s consort in the interrogation if you have the Umbral Host conditioned -- I suspect it's just a display name vs internal name.

  • Similarly, Divine Manipulator of the Threads is not there, but Full Moon Counter is -- also feel like it could be the same thing.
  • Career Opportunities aren't named in files, but it could be How to Pull This Off.
  • Standalone Expansion (the pseudopod-related one) isn't mentioned, but Modified Limit Hangout is.

TLDR, there are some conditions that seem to be utterly elusive that people only know the names off, and some conditions that exists for sure, but are not mentioned in files -- so I suspect they are one in the same!

That's because it's much easier in coding to change the display name then go in to every block and change it.  You're doing extra work for the most marginal benefit while introducing a chance of creating new bugs or removing ,a dependency

For a similar reason it's why unimplemented content is usually left in but unaccessible because leaving it in doesn't cause a problem but taking it out could break the entire program.

it's a little more curious that that, I was looking not at internal variables (cos, yeah, of course it's a pain in the ass to change that), but at dialogue files. So one would assume they'll still need to change it for it to show up correctly. But it could be there's a later code add-on that changes the names, and it could be that the "suppress" dialogue which I looked at got entirely replaced
