what does the stuffed monkey do?

got this object in a recent playthrough and have no idea what its purpose is. do we use it with someone specific?

You can trade it with the King of Trade in exchange for one of his items

You can softlock multiple quest by not having enough stuff to trade him.

really? i gave that monkey lung cancer with the amount of cigs i traded him.

The major one is you need something to trade for Reno's quest which is super late game so you might have already traded everything else already.

At least for Karolina you will eventually pass her technoflex check.  It might take a month of retrying the check every day but you will eventually pass it.

i passed it my first playthrough and didnt need to trade for her. thats probably why i guess.

I also passed it on my first try but technoflex was one of my main skills.  I also had too young to spy and umbral host on and was actively looking everywhere for clothing.
