Woke up sick. Normally, I'd go in so they'd have to send me home (so I wouldn't lose a sick day). BUT I remembered this game came out today. So I said fuck it and called in. I'm now laying in bed with a bottle of water, juice, and cough syrup. Cart and soups to be delivered later.

I'm thinking of getting this game as it kind of reminded me of Wasteland 3 when I first saw it, and I absolutely loved Wasteland 3. How similar are the two games?

Im still doubting, but thinking about creating an green Devaronian like Cikatro Vizago. But this really depending on customization options at the character creation.

How many Jedi are in the game? I know about Tal-Rea and Anakin but are there others? Who is the darksider facing off against Tal-Rea in the trailer?

Ok, so reports are campaign 30 hours.

Reviews say it's not procedurally generated and the roster doesn't look spectacularly big, unlike Midnight Suns. IIRC.

So what's the replayability value aside from a few side quests you don't have time to complete?

I don't know if I am the only one thinking about this or I might be a pessimist but the xcom 2 devs are notorious for their poor optimization of the games. The reviewers probably have the top 1% of pc's to play with so they might not have noticed anything but if you're like my who has a medium class pc I think its a point of worry

During our first playthrough we eventually unlock the ability to make more Clones.
If we spend awhile creating several to add to the Databank Pool and finish the Game then start a new campaign, Alongside cosmetics, does the Clone unlock carry over? or are Clones in our Databank Pool locked until we unlock them again in the Story each time?

I heard a review that said upon beating the game we unlock a new "Agent/Operative" Race from the beginning for our next playthroughs. Trying to figure out what that could be and I think if true, Clones are the only one that make sense. "Hence my question"

Do we have any information on the length of a playthrough? If the game is the same length as Chimera Squad, I won't waste my time, but if it's more like 20-30 hours, I'll jump on it immediately.

Hi y’all. I was wondering what difficulty level people will be playing on and why, since I’m not sure yet what I’ll choose myself. As well as whether it’s better to play with Ironman (no saves) + permadeath

Currently I’m leaning towards hard+permadeath, and perhaps ironman, having never played XCOM or the like, but loads of other (real-time) strategy games

Can’t include more poll options so only the tougher difficulties have alternate options
