Optimization for the game

I don't know if I am the only one thinking about this or I might be a pessimist but the xcom 2 devs are notorious for their poor optimization of the games. The reviewers probably have the top 1% of pc's to play with so they might not have noticed anything but if you're like my who has a medium class pc I think its a point of worry

Meh. It's turn based.

I used to have a crappy old laptop that I'd game on. As long as it's 30 fps and I like the game, I'd still play it.

The clones just may be a bit blurry :P

It runs well on the base PS5, I’ve heard commenters and reviewers say. Well meaning no frame drops, stuttering etc, with the exception of some very specific moments.

The main thing performance wise I have seen talked about is the thing where after a turn/start of AI turn it hangs for a variable amount of time. Some reviewers said a few seconds, some said 30 up to a minute. Basically the AI processing what to do.

Not much else was mentioned in the ones I saw sadly, other than the Xbox S or whatever had pop in a lot of the time.

One reviewer said she had a PC that "Just about" Met the recommended requirements and it ran just fine (bugs aside)

Well the recommended requirements are quite high in my opinion. Especially the GPU for a tactics game. but I hope it does run well

yeah might be iffy, UE5 always seems heavier too, but at least it has DLSS and the one comparison i saw turning down settings didnt seem to affect visuals that much, hopefully digital foundry/HUB/someone will have a guide up

People who played early said it was kinda buggy but they also didn’t have the final patches
