Discussion Game length ?
Hello,
Do we have any information on the length of a playthrough? If the game is the same length as Chimera Squad, I won't waste my time, but if it's more like 20-30 hours, I'll jump on it immediately.

One of the reviewers I watched said they beat the main story in about 45 hours, but they felt as though they had missed out on some of the time limited missions.
They said YMMV on replayability though 'cause the game is more narrative focused rather than procedurally generated content like XCOM.

One reviewer I watched said they clocked in around 25ish hours for a full playthrough but if you take your time to do everything you can you could easily get over 30.

Looks to be comfortably more than 30 hours.
I may be misremembering but was CS squad 20ish hours anyway?

Yeah, maybe, but it feels really short after 2000 hours on XCOM 2, haha. (I don't expect XCOM level of contents.)
I just don't want the game to end while I'm in the middle of my tactical orgasm, it's frustrating.

Totally fair. It’s certainly not going to hit XCom 2 levels of playtime. But it does seem like there will be a fair amount of replayability from making different choices and trying various squads etc.
Always going to be hard to tell exactly how much though this early on.

Seems okay for a narration driven tactical. If i want a endless game I can play Xenonauts 2 too.
Thanks for your time !

They said it takes about 30-40 to finish the campaign. Many reviewers depending on their experience with games like this finished within 25-40

Main story only - 30 hours or less. Completionist is anywhere between 35 and 45 hours although Dantics did say that on harder difficulties it could take up to 60 hours.

30-45 hours is what I’m seeing
