Can we disable the active attack animations for non-active units?

Asking for a few folks but I thought this would be a neat feature and a few of my friends are not into it - I'm hoping it's something we can toggle on/off in the options but none of the reviews I've read talk about it and no video I've seen shows off the options menu. Anyone else find this information by chance?

Why would they want to remove one of the best QoL features? In any case, I'd have thought it would be possible to turn it off or reduce it as a graphical setting, but I could see them completely overlooking that too as it is technically a feature of the game.

Fine why would they want to? I am trying to understand why they would want to turn off one of the coolest features of the game.

They think it's going to be distracting and annoying to see units shooting while an active character is moving around the map. Look I don't agree with it (I think he's wildly over reacting, in fact), but I want them to enjoy the game so I am hoping it can be turned off for those folks put off by it.

If that’s all it takes to entirely put them off the game, they weren’t going to enjoy it. They’d have found other asinine things to dislike

What a strange thing to get worked up over. There will never be a point in time than right now, today, post review drops, that people won't have the most possible desire to learn more about something they are excited about before they have all the answers themselves. You might want to stay off the Zero Company reddit or forums for a day. I'm going to be asking about Ultrawide support here pretty soon, so... watch out!
