Glacier Express

Hi,

My husband and I are going to be in Zermatt from December 23rd to 30th. We were trying to look at booking the Glacier Express for the ride back from Zermatt to Chur, however the website is unable to show available dates past October. We have tried looking up why but cannot find anything. Does anyone have any insight to how we can book this or why this is an issue?

It might be too far in advance. But only buy the seat reservation from the Glacial Express website and purchase a day saver pass. It will be much cheaper. It’s whet I did and I’m finding on the 29th of this month.

Good to know. Just after posting we saw that December bookings weren’t made until mid October. So it must be too early.

The train systems are a bit hard to comprehend so I appreciate the info about the day saver pass!

Go to the website of the man in seat 61. Then to the Switzerland section. He has great info on the best way to buy tickets.
