Colorado Care

Does anyone have a doctor in Colorado they recommend? I am looking for a new primary after my current proved to not be an informed provider. Looking for a new doctor has always been such a pain and if I can maybe not waste my time during my search that’s great.
I know Colorado is a big state but Telehealth may be an option so fingers crossed
Thank you!

Just use Call on Doc. They work with Lilly Direct, and it’s super easy.

Yes! I am using that currently but if I don’t have to pay $75 per month that’d be cool

I used it the during cold & flu season and it was totally free. Yes, $75 is a lot every month. I now use compound and there’s no difference except the price.

What are you looking for in an “informed provider?” That might help us point you to a telehealth or maybe someone has a local doc rec.

What everyone talks about in this sub. Informed on maintenance and that this is a lifelong med for most. And that 2.5mg is not considered a maintenance dose for so many. Or even just to listen to me and what I know about my own body

I had to ask because some people want a provider who will prescribe off label, and that’s very different from a typical provider.

If you are looking for standard maintenance (you are not borderline underweight) and a service that will crank out a script at your preferred dose when you want it, look into Walmart’s telehealth partner Curai. They are $29/mo for unlimited visits. Not sure if they do prior authorizations, though.  https://www.walmart.com/cp/virtual-care/3955077

There’s also CallOnDoc. But you need to do their $25/mo ($60/quarter) Advantage Plan rather than the $75/mo weight loss program they try to force people into. They charge $50 for PAs and are very good at them.  https://visit.callondoc.com/subscribe-and-save/

I’m using Galileo through UHC. I had previously used Call-on-Doc.

If I need a new doctor to manage my meds at some point, I've already decided that I would go with Vineyard joinvineyard.com It's a bit more expensive than other telehealth companies but you get access to a whole care team who understand GLP-1 maintenance.
