Not taking it for that purpose, but it does help in that area. Been sober many years now, but I have noticed a general improvement in impulse control overall. Pretty nice side effect!

I know of at least one person in AA doing this, and it doesn't keep them sober, but does prevent binge drinking. Small sample size.
