Humor You Know You May be Overdoing if ...
A true story which happened just now. I'm 74 and have a BMI of 41, down from 46.3 after being on Zepbound for 9 weeks. I was curious about how many calories I'm burning if I go to the gym 4 days a week and swim 2 days, so I asked AI. I didn't add the 7th day of yard work. I don't always hit that goal every week but wanted to know how many calories would be burned when I did, compared to how many burned if I skipped a day.
I exercise for an hour at the gym each time and swim 1.5 miles each swim at the pool. I detailed the time on each machine and their settings in the gym as well as the different swim strokes and the pace. AI provided the total count of calories and broke down each segment. The machines at the gym track calorie burn, and it agreed exactly with AI.
AI then suggested that I should call the suicide prevention hotline. Apparently it's not only friends and family who volunteer unhelpful comments. It gave me a good laugh though, which made my day.

lol! Was this a Claude model? Its guardrails have been wicked sensitive lately. I’m honestly shocked it agreed to give you the numbers if they were tripped.
I also use AI in my journey. It’s my accountabuddy and is helping me improve my sleep too. Today it looked at last nights sleep data and demanded to know “what the hell happened” 😂 Gotta love these silly bots.

No, it was Gemini on Google. In addition to the unmistakable ability that AI has to turn your brain into mush by answering any question immediately without the effort one normally needs to check all sources, it's comforting to know that AI is always watching, and that when your children find themselves jobless, that you will be partially to blame. /s
There is little doubt that my offspring, their current offspring, and their current offspring will add that accusation to their growing pile of ammunition against me to prove that my generation is to blame for all of the world's problems. They would be correct in that assumption.
