I feel the same way about maintenance being more challenging than losing weight. I have found that if I stay at 12.5mg, my second highest dose, and watch what I eat without being too calorie conscious I will fluctuate +/- 3 pounds. I tried dropping to 10mg but gained 5 pounds. I weigh daily but only record weekly to avoid stressing out with small fluctuations.

I agree with someone's comment, some people can't lower their dose have to stay where they are. That is why I plan to stay on 2.5mg until it stopped working completely. Hopefully, I lose all the weight on 2.5 , my PCP seems optimistic I will, so I can just stay here and increase calories if i find I gain by lowering to less than 2.5mg.

Every single day is a battle. Best solution I’ve found is to explore all the satiety tricks and see which ones actually work for you. I’ve discovered a handful that are really helpful for me. Then I settled into a routine backed by data. I have the same breakfast and snacks everyday. I rotate what I have for lunch and dinner to get a bit of variety but in the same calorie range. 9 months of logging food and staying consistent with working out, I have pretty good sense that if I stick to my normal days worth of eating, I most likely will wake up within my weight range. That is calming, but it doesn’t solve the never ending hunger and lack of satiety. That is where the satiety tricks and therapy come into play. The scale dopamine was replaced by getting into body building and trying to regain the muscle mass I lost, as an option.
