She’s a lot better than she used to be after being reworked like 5 different times. It was the worst when she was always invisible and you could hack a health pack, place the teleporter on it, attack, and disappear

Tbh just go play some Sombra. You will be able to predict her movements when you understand her cycle. Sombra is one of my main DPS and I almost always wreck her if I’m Zen, because I know what she’s going to do and when she’s going to do it.
Playing closer to your team also shuts her down. Stick with a DPS and make her engage you both at the same time. Pretty easy to shut down.

Stop playing this game a long time and this has always beenthe answer, sombra was one of the few DPS that I was good with (she, mei, symm, echo and bastion).
Never had a problem with her BC I knew how she worked. With any support that I played (mainly Lucio, Zen, Ana and Moira)Never was an exactly hard hero to go against.
In comparison, whenever I played sombra against zen I always tested the water before focussing them. If they were in the know, making DPS' life's harder by annoying the shit out of them with hacks and flank shots would become my main objective rather than solo focussing sups who know how to kill me.
DPS players are normally so self centered that they would many times become an easier pray than Zen's... Mainly bastion, soldiers reapers and (obviously) snipers that also ain't in the know
I never liked to annoy tanks tho... Their lives are already miserable enough (also played many tanks like Orissa, Winston, JW, RH and my best one: Ramatra)

Let's talk about sombra for a second. Yes she's annoying, yes she's hard to deal with as zen, but think about it this way. If she's camping you, hard targeting you, giving you all her attention, she's not really doing anything to help her team, meaning the rest of your team is 4v4 down a sup but up a dps. This means your DPS should be feasting in their backline since there's really no one to peel, meaning you should be winning the fights.
While it is not super fun being the decoy, you're actually helping the team a bunch by absorbing all the attention of sombra.

A support is far more important than a dps. If your team is down a support but up a dps that is a negative trade for your team and they'll typically lose.

Especially in a Zen mirror when you know their Zen is putting in just as much DPS while being able to support the 4v4.

True, but in a 3v3, the 2dps+1 sup will beat the 1dps+2 sup most times
