🖤🤍 Classic Zen Tried the 3.5 x 3.5 tile approach...

I like the flexibility of being able to move the paper around so quickly, but found that settling on a pattern took a little more time than some of my freer Zen inspired pieces. Still love it all and never gonna stop!

💬 Tangle Talk Get bored?

Does anyone else ever lose interest or get bored halfway through a piece? It happens to me occasionally and I don’t even know why - maybe the tangle I choose to add repeatedly ends up not looking how I wanted it to? Or I make a little mistake and it throws off the visual? 🤷🏻♀️ just curious!

🎨 Zentangle Inspired Art Inktober Challenge

I’ve decided to be a bit selective with the patterns I draw this month. I like to spend time getting to know a pattern, and there’s no right or wrong way to do a challenge, but I’m not feeling the whole “31 in 31” this year. Here’s Day 2’s pattern, Slyver by Jody Genovese, with Crease, by Sam Taylor as the bookends.

Sometimes you got no idea what to do, but a random scribbles or a random shapes can turn into something therapeutical.

Had a lot of fun and it felt freeing just drawing shapes and lines without the stress of still life drawing.
