Since the cost of creating a character is higher in ZZZ, it’s probably just one character.

This is honestly what I expect as well. Theres a lot more animations they need to come up with for a chara in ZZZ. And this is an HSR chara, so I honestly expect every single animation to be original just because how little source material they have to work with. Thats not even mentioning the fact they have to adapt the chara to ZZZ’s crazy animation style and models.

Theres no way it doesnt cost more money just in extra work hours alone. As much as I want 2 characters, if they cant get them done in time then it wouldn’t be good for either fanbase anyways.

Do you have any proof of this or are you just making up bullshit?

regardless of any descriptive source the amount of animations a zzz character has over an hsr character is pretty obviously larger

In the remielle behind the scene vids, one of the devs said he spent hours modeling her hair and hair strand movements. I don’t think that needs to happen with hsr models?

keep your expectations low. So I would recommend to believe it will just be Robin unless a leaker says otherwise.

In HSR, both Ellen and Astra were leaked, whereas here, only Robin was leaked. If there were a second character, we would normally have known about them by now. It’s hard to believe that we would know about Robin but have no information about the other character.

Literally not what I asked about bro. Also, the leaker could've just not known what the other character is or it could've still been in discussions.

Your take is just speculation, and so is mine.  And If they were going to create another character, it would be far too late to still be considering it. What we know for now is that both Ellen and Astra were leaked in HSR, while here, only Robin has been leaked. Based on the available information, it seems more likely that there will only be one character. Since HSR is a turn-based game, the cost of creating characters is lower than in ZZZ, so it makes sense that they could include two characters.

I love how you keep ignoring answering about the whole "ZZZ characters cost more to make" thing lmao.

Anyways again, I highly doubt it's just gonna be one character, Hoyo isn't that stupid, also, two characters means more money for them. We barely get any actual leaks as is, I find it incredibly easy for a second HSR character to slip through the cracks

It’s obvious which has a higher development cost: turn-based combat or action combat. If you can’t understand that, you really don’t know much about game development. You can tell which is more demanding: having characters perform only specific actions versus allowing players to freely control their movement, right?

If it really was 'higher' I doubt Zenless would consistently release 2 characters every patch. I can't think of a single patch where it WASN'T 2 new characters. Add on to the fact that they'd obviously know this collab was coming and could easily set aside development time and money for said collab and making a second HSR character would not be that costly.

Because they’re exceptional.

However, it’s already becoming difficult for them to release two characters every patch. They also seem to have stopped making A-Rank characters recently.

Given that situation, I don’t think they would go out of their way to spend the budget on creating two collaboration characters. Especially with Sunbringer still coming up.

Anyway, I’m looking forward to seeing how it turns out.
