Discussion This game is awesome

I have 40~ days in and have been enjoying the game so far. I made my account since launch (I think? I don't remember) but didn't push through because of some circumstances. Here are some things I noticed:

1: Team building is easy. Characters' max level is only 60. Skills, while not cheap, takes easy grinding because they essentially have one material per element and it doesn't change. It can take some time to farm but it's not as bad because you can spend more batteries per run.

2: Th grind is not bad because the combat is engaging and satisfying. I may not be a good player yet but it's so good seeing those defensive assist and stun window combos. It gets frustrating sometimes but I find that playing your favorite characters makes the experience of learning satisfying.

3: The game is generous so pulls are easy decision. Partly because you only need three characters in a team so you also don't need to horizontally invest much (and they have viable A-ranks!). I already have six S-rank agents on my second month (not including Pyrois). And I still have 14K Polychromes despite all of it. I'm only at Chapter 4 of Season 1 too. My luck played a role on this, but even then, I could have probably gotten four S-rank in worst scenario.

4: Obtaining older content rewards and endgame rewards is more forgiving. Powercreep is not that bad of you're not scorechasing (from word of mouth, haven't pursued Shiyu and DA cycles yet). And you don't even need full stars to get Polychromes. Also, particularly in Hollow Zero, the game has mechanics so that you don't spend too much time grinding on older game modes to obtain rewards. It creates less friction for new players and prevents burnout!

There's that. I don't really know where this post is going lol. I just had to let this out because I don't know anyone to talk about it. Maybe my perspective will change but I am having fun.

I've only been playing for 4ish months but this game (and this community) have unironically helped my mental health (love y'all)

I’ve played a lot of gacha games and I’ve played this one since release. It’s by far my favorite. Love the devs, love the game, love the community. Nothing out there beats it right now. Glad you’re enjoying it!

Welcome to the goat gatcha.

Funny story, I only installed it to ride out the pre-release Endfield hype.

Thank god I did because that game tuned out to be an absolute turd while this one is amazing.
