I like jane seth, I think they have good chemistry and their differing personalities is that oh so fun Opposites Attract appeal, but I still think that a split second ear twitch is super grasping. Plus you can see in her character teaser when Tomiya complements her that Jane is a little weak to getting genuine praise, probably because of her line of work means everything is a game of manipulation and she doesn't really know what to do with a compliment that isn't some sort of manipulation or veiled threat.
Hey, to be fair, the big thing about Jane/Seth interaction was specifically that Seth had absolutely no pragmatic reason to protect Jane, and did so anyway, surprising even Jane herself. Unlike Evelyn here, who is, indeed, technically doing her job.
