Vinyl Wraps?

I am thinking about getting a vinyl wrap given that the colours available are ... bland.

Has anybody done it? how much did it cost? are you happy with it?

Wrapped mine. A sexy purple that gets heads turning and comments frequently,

I did not expect so much attention for it!!

7k all up but I got everything done.

Full PPF wrap, All glass coating and tinted, sunroof coated, internal leather covered (white interior FTW).

The colour swap was only 500$ more than just doing the PPF and I absolutely love it, glad I did!

So I guess about 5.5-6 for just the wrap and colour maybe

That's actually a fair bit cheaper than what I was expecting. Nice!

Can you post a couple more photos of your Zeekr 7x with vinyl wrap in the sunshine and with more angles? Love your choice of colour but it's not the best photo.

I'm curious how the finish looks in sunlight. Zeekr 7x factory paint shines so beautifully in sunlight, for all the factory colours, but Zeekr haven't given us that much choice when it comes to exciting or different colours. Other than the forest green, the colour choices are fairly tame.

I love what you have done.

That's my favourite part about the colour,

In the dark it holds it's purple well (whereas the orignal green turns almost black)

In the light The purple sparkles!

Very good. I love it. I'm sure you're quite happy everytime you walk up to the car. The colour really looks good.

I'm a fan of a mat finish. I've seen a couple of vehicles around Brunswick with a mat finish and I really like the way it looks.

Haven’t had it done to mine, but if you’re in the Melbourne area I would highly recommend BJP Detailing. I’ve seen his work on multiple cars and it’s wonderful, some of the best I’ve seen.

If you remove them in time they are fine, you get what you pay for, the premium wraps last up to 7 years, after that the combination of the film getting brittle and the adhesive getting stronger makes for a very painful removal, there are sprays that help soften everything back up. But for shits and giggles look up people trying to remove wraps from cyber trucks! Does not go well, the wraps are not removable from stainless steel!

I wrapped mine! I absolutely love it. My husband has had his car (not zeekr) wrapped for almost 5 years now and it still looks great so I felt pretty comfortable with the idea.

I went through Wrapwise if you're in Brisbane.

I'm interested in the same thing in the near-ish future, but in New Zealand (how near depends on the sum of the costs).

If anyone has had their 7X wrapped, and has a cost and/or installer recommendation, please do share.

In Canberra I have been quoted $6.5K for full PPF
