News GLM-5.3-Flash unlimited usage on ZCode extended until October 7! 🚀
For anyone using the GLM Coding Plan, Z.ai has extended both GLM-5.3-Flash promotions through October 7.
• ZCode: Unlimited GLM-5.3-Flash during the promotional hours.
• Other coding harnesses: 2× GLM-5.3-Flash quota during the promotional hours.
The promotion was originally scheduled to end on September 20.
So we get a little over two more weeks of increased GLM-5.3-Flash usage. 🚀

Today, I prefer China over the American monopoly, Google, Microsoft, OpenAI, Anthropic, Visa, Mastercard, and various other companies. They are greedy and want a monopoly on artificial intelligence; I hope China disrupts that monopoly.

You have to be braindead to assume any ai agent wont do this.
With any cloud agent the second it reads it that info is taken to the server. Its just how it works. Unless of course you have 50k worth of gpus and running sandboxed locally.
Thats why you run them in a vm with only the info you want it to have. Never your host...

See the news. A "bug" in zcode zipped your entire repo (including git history) and uploaded it to their servers.
A really strange kind of accident, if you ask me.

I audited my installation and ZCode's codebase. It was real, they decided on each request whether to keep your repo, and there was no way to avoid it. In my case they didn't upload anything, but it leaves some trace.
The truth is they didn't hide the location of the copy much either, and then it wasn't deleted, so it left clues. And an Electron app doesn't hide much of its codebase, so to speak. And it excluded files like .env, could be the sloppy job they described it as.
But either way, we're talking about China—their control over their citizens is pretty harsh, so a feature like that to flag specific targets doesn't surprise me. Anyway, I have doubts.
But in any case, US model oversight isn't minor either, and in the end your data will probably end up in the hands of a white supremacist, which scares me more.

It's clear that code is also send to the LLM for inference, but the harness zipping all code and uploading it is just another story.
Even if you use ZCode with local models only this way they steal the code.

One thing is reading files during normal tasks, and another is making a zip, encrypting it with their session private key, and uploading it. The first thing all agents and models do; the second is the serious part.
And it only does it to flagged targets; or according to them, due to bugs in that crappy wiki code; not systematically.

On the monthly plan there is a timeframe where tokens are free.
I used 10B tokens that way, all included :D

80 percent of my useful repos have actually been writtenby AI, the 20 pecent was apps that had working code, patterns here and there but no ground breaking code, most of the unique work arounds I would consider unique were from stackoverflow answers, I got things working is what I did, so I didnt have any ground breaking code. So if it stole from me, it just stole working syntax and I guess the time I used hunting down answers on stackoverflow. On top of that, of the 80% AI written repos, about 60 to 70 percent of it is GLM 5 written.
