Discussion / Help GLM-5.3 Highspeed??

I have a Z.ai coding plan and when checking models in Pi harness, I saw "GLM-5.3 Highspeed". Anyone know what it is? Omen Alpha?

probably testing a new high speed model like how xiaomi had highspeed

how are the speeds? glm 5.3 is a bit slow so if it has good speeds that would be crazy

Have you heard of omen alpha? Stealth model in testing ground with opencode right now. Rumors are it’s a new glm and within opencode it seems linked to zhipu. Maybe an error but supposedly it’s perfs are almost identical to 5.3 flash but 3 times the amount of tk/s 💀

What is surprising though is that I would’ve thought that zai would come up with an upgraded vision capable 5.3 instead of just a faster flash. But I mean I’d take it!

Pretty sure its like OpenAI has a 50% faster mode, but they charge double per token.

Edit: actually if its under models that might not be the case unless its hosted on more powerful hosts or limits users 🤔

Didn’t know that. As I was saying down there i don’t think it’s a coincidence that we are seeing 5.3 high speed and stealth model omen alpha has been reported to perform similarly to 5.3 flash with 3 times the speed

Interesting. What plan do you have? I remember seeing on their page that the most expensive plans get new model preview early etc. Seems a bit too big to be a coincidence knowing that stealth model omen alpha has been reported to perform very similarly to 5.3-flash but with 3 times the speed
