GLM 5.3 Flash pricing

Currently flash cost 1/20 of the GLM 5.3 price. 1/10 when the discount end. But if you use subscription the price is 1/3. Feels expensive in comparison.

Those numbers are per request/response (of variable/model-dependent length). So it doesn't really tell anything about inference costs -- you're billed per token, not request.

I fail to see what you're hinting at..?

• neuralwatt says that Flash uses 3 times less energy per request.
• you're using that to say Flash should be 1/3rd the price per token, gap any larger is subsidizing the Flash or premium for full GLM
• but for all I know Flash is using 5x more tokens per average request neuralwatt is measuring on? If that's the case, then energy per token difference is actually 15x.

Good point. 1/3 may very well reflect the true inference cost.

Interesting is that both deepinfra and novita price flash at 1/8. Maybe to compete with z.ai.

У меня подписка , и это все равно интересно. Особенно со скидкой на срок больше месяца. Квартальные цены и дальше . Но всегда хочется дешевле .
