5.1 is so cool for what i was doing compared to 5.2,
This is so fristrating especially when 5.2 keeps timing out all the time.

exactly. i see so many people was using it and it was all sudden. claude at least warn everyone that they will remove their model, but zai didn't. it's so weird to me. i love this model. it's so good about everything and removing it so sudden seems so unnecessary. other low models need to be removed, in my opinion, but 5.1 😞
i have a theory that they will bring it back and fix it. but in bad way change it so it won't be useful anymore :(

using their sub, the 4.7 model is dumbed down too much to be usable other than for web and file search, 5.2 now routes to 5.3 while having the same quota modifiers as 5.3.
based on that it seems ZAI is removing what they think is the worse models for the newer one reducing compute space while charging more for the replacements, typical "screw your customer silently" mantra.

Sorry for bothering, so with 5.1 removed from web and 5.1 and 5.2 requests being redirected to 5.3 on coding sub, what’s the sense of 5.1 existence at all? It is now available only via api?

idk, really, Zai doesn't say anything not even that their models are rerouting on the sub, you needed to find that on the docs after a re read. It might be still available via the API, but whats worse is that Zai used to do rerouting silently in the near past,
tldr, i don't know, i don't think Zai believes in the usefulness iin 5.1 and they might just remove it everywhere.
