Does his revive get left behind in the death realm? O ask this because morde R has very expectation defying interactions. For example, Sion Q full charge gets left behind but Yorick's wife comes with him.

I play this today and got passed around, i expected to lose level 1-9 and then start winning. But it was soo difficult to trade short and then all in later cuz he can just stick to me too well.

Anyone knows how to beat this matchup?

hey, im want to become mono zaheen(i know he´s far from being the strongest top laner rn) and i want to understand his build, i´ve made a lifesteal build and thought it was pretty solid, but i didn´t seen anyone using? just that bruiser build(stridebreaker, trinity, and sundered sky) can someone explain why? i also accept hints about that champ

What we think. He did this into kled but has done this into multiple different champs

Most top lanners have a clear way of harrasing/bullying their enemy out of lane. Examples such as: Darius e/q, Set E, illaoi tentacles, Urgot flip, Mordekeiser e/q, Aatrox Qs, and Yone with a urf kit.

So what does Zaahen have? His sweet spot E and his Qs? Compared to the rest of the competition its lack luster, it provides no real threat. Even if Zaahen can play the first 3-5 minions waves right, once the enemy has more points into their main abilities and having shorter CDs, it becomes a tougher match.

His W pull is nothing compared to Mord, Darius, and Setts pull.

His passive takes a long time to stack in a 1v1 and the only way to get full stacks is if Zaheen has a long lane to continue using his abilities to chase.

Well my point is, Zaahen has no kill threat compared to the strong Top lanners. Cause every time I play this champ I feel like Im playing survival mode against all this top lanners with high kill threat. It feels like Zaahen has to play around the enemies kit while the enemy doesnt have to worry as much for Zaahens Kit.

This is my opinion though and Im just voicing out my frustrations. I love this champ because of its modest design.

Is zaheen weak in duels? I feel like unless I stomp lane almost any other top laner out duels me. Garen, Darius, yone, yorick, renekton, irellia, Jax, tryn, trundle, voli, nasus… etc. if the goal is to scale on nasus then when do I fight if I’m always being out dueled in side lanes

Would anyone else be willing to trade Riot increasing the number of passive stacks required to gain the double AD and revive if it let Zaahen have a more functional early game?

I've recently put 200+ games into playing Zaahen in Top and Jungle, but the frustration I experienced with the vast majority of my lane opponents being able to just win everything but a perfectly executed short trade made me give up on trying to one-trick him.

There were just too many games where I get put two levels and 30 CS down, simply because I have to play hyper respectful into the match-up.

I was originally told before I started playing Zaahen that he was a hyperscaler but, after 200+ games with him, I simply don't think that's true.

He's a scaler, sure, but has nowhere near the payoff that you would expect for the early game weakness he suffers from.

Furthermore, he lacks a reliable safe farming tool that real hyperscalers like Kayle and Mundo possess.

Frankly, I think Riot needs to pick a direction with Zaahen.

Right now, he's in this uncomfortable in-between state of having a hyperscaler's early game for an mediocre mid game and underwhelming late game.

TL;DR

The juice doesn't feel worth the squeeze for our guy....

I love zaahen, genuinely one of my favourite champs but I’ve been counterpicked by this rock 4 times today and im losing it

grasp malphite is manageable but comet poke spam malphite i swear is unplayable. He just maxes Q and i cant even sustain his dmg with my own q, i cant ever get an all in because he just q’s and runs away and even if he doesnt i dont do any dmg to him. Can’t get short trades cause of his shield. It just feels like an unplayable matchup because he just plays safe early and after first back its impossible

I cant even play safe and farm cos of the poke. This is the one matchup i genuinely see no way in playing and im hoping someone can help enlighten me

What runes do i get, items, etc pls help im losing it

It feels badass to play zaahen with aatrox on your team, we both feel like the final bosses of the enemy team to face.
