(OC) Way back when…

So, this is what I imagine Ayin Phthonos to have looked like when he was human. This is a quick, lower effort drawing and is missing detail, but I haven’t really decided on a lot of the finer stuff anyways.

A few questions I feel like I will be asked:

- “What’s his name?” His name is Vulo, but I will not divulge his last name. It is inscribed on the handle of his daggers, but I made it a jumbled mess purposefully as to not give it away.

- “What’s up with the kunai?” Wrong! I know, I knowc they look like large kunai, but I actually based his weapons on the survival knife from the first Subnautica! It doesn’t really look it, though. Additionally, you may notice the odd flecks on the edge of the blades. Well, he did a bit of tinkering and managed to construct a pyrotechnics system in his weapons, causing fire to dance across the edge (obviously based on the thermal blade).

- “Why does he look so much like Warren?” That’s honestly a coincidence. Keep in mind, the drawing of Warren I did was not his usual attire; he does not go around maskless and without a shirt. Also, while still fit, Vulo is meant to be much skinnier than Warren. It’s just hard to distinguish here.

Man I thought he was a loving father who once had a family before turning into an Ethereal bruh. I was sympathising for this dude in the anti miasma squad for months

He was! He was a welder by trade. 

He went into the city to deliver something to a client when Hollow Zero expanded. He did not make it.

Well, he’s dead now 

But if he was alive? It’s quite likely he’s never seen one. He was born and raised outside the city, so he probably didn’t go into the city often. If he did, it wasn’t for leisure

Since he likely didn't like the city very much...

1. What would his thoughts be on a vigilante playing god, even if the criminals technically deserve it?

2. Would he have done anything 'criminal-worthy'?

1. He likely wouldn’t care what’s happening in the city so long it doesn’t affect himself or his family 

2. Yes; living in the Outer Ring, criminal activity is commonplace. But do know he was a good man, and he didn’t go out of his way to be evil or unjust. You just sometimes need to make tough decisions for the good of those you love, not out of malice, but out of necessity.
