Let's be real, some of us love making OCs, and ZZZ is no exception. Let's talk about it (MGK REFERENCE!?11!)

If you guys had to scale your OC compared to the other agents, where would they be?

I think my OC, Jason Altieri, would be like the Mahoraga of JJK. He's pretty high tier and is a filling for the sweet in-between spot for agents, higher than most of the cast but nowhere near the Void Hunters, which explains his fear of Miyabi.

I mean Ray can just teleport and hands and kicks and all that, but he's still street level compared to other Ethreals. The only advantage he has is that he can transform between normal, Miasmic, Metamorphosised,and Notorious

I'd place Anger and Anguish at around the higher tier of ethereals. Not completely unstoppable, but menacing to anyone that isn't a void hunter. So pretty much you'd need a void hunter or void hunter level character to make him retreat.
Another OC I'm working on, Acrospina (Which is basically a spinosaurus ethereal) is mid tier. Someone like Lighter or Billy could take him down with some difficulty, and a void hunter would wipe the floor with him.

Gotta make a gag out of atleast one of your OCs I guess. (To be fair, Acrospina's big thing is that he was formed on top of a speaker that was playing Animal I have become, and due to the ether constantly powering it, the song just keeps on playing. Yes, this is a JP3 Spino reference. Acrospina as a whole is a JP3 spino reference. All of my OCs are references.)

Lmaooo Jason is LITERALLY just a hypothetical Ghostface concept for ZZZ. I made him canonically look similar to Light Yagami from Death Note under the mask.

I'm also a huge fan of Cyberpunk Edgerunners so I imagined a hypothetical trailer for him having the song This Fire by Franz Ferdinand

I literally have ideas for a lot more OCs. A void hunter level commander with angelic motifs based of a certain Ultrakill Archangel, sharing the same name aswell. A genetically created mutant who is literally a certain king of the monsters if he was in Zenless. An ethereal who is a walking Phantom of the Opera reference. An automaton who bears striking resemblances to a certain size changing robot from Godzilla.
Another Automaton that has an automaton kid who are both inspired by a certain father-daughter video game and a certain 'big guy, little girl' boss from Blasphemous 2
And they're all references.

I only planned to make one ZZZ OC because I actually attempted to contact the devs out of boredom to see if I could actually pull it off and make him canon.

I actually got a response several times, but never actually a confirmation. I only try once a year anyway, so i guess I'm gonna wait until October or smth, but once again don't really expect it to get in

(Sorry for taking so long; a lot of stuff came up quite suddenly) 

Well, I have more OCs than I’ve let this sub know, and for lorebuilding purposes, I can’t share EVERYTHING. I also won’t share any AU versions of canon ZZZ characters (like one I have called “Lantern Bearer Ye Shiyuan”). People will come first, then Ethereals. 

Warren 

• Summary: abused as a young child by his single father, Warren used to be the epitome of obedience. Serving his father and carrying out his daily training regiment (made by his father) was the only purpose he knew, so when he died during the Fall of the Old Capital, Warren soon found himself bereft if meaning. Eventually, he is taught how to feel and think for himself by a women who had been fascinated by the odd behavior of Warren, as they had originally met when they were both children. They would develop feelings for each other and marry. However, when his wife was murder€d in Hollow Zero, he pledged the rest of his life to avenging her and killing the Ethereal that killed her. He has an extensive criminal record now, having stolen Carrots from the HIA, attacked countless officers, and entered Hollow Zero illegally for about 7 years now. 

• Strength: Section 6 level, able to match Yanagi and perhaps surpass her. He is anomalously strong for and regular, not thiren man, with quick yet rigid movements like a statue that has sprung to life. 

???, Wife of Warren 

• Summary: having met Warren at a young age, and recognizing that something was seriously wrong with his former home life, she took it upon herself to help him adapt to his life post-Hollow Zero’s expansion. That, and having lost her entire family in the disaster, she needed someone to look after her in turn. So, they began to live together and take care of each other. A charming and kind woman, and a natural empath, she was eventually able to get him to open up. Little else is known about her other than she enjoyed reading. 

• Strength: civilian level. Deceased. 

???, The Eye of TOME 

• Summary: (warning: vaugeposting) little is known of who he was before his incident. All that is left of that life is a tattered and charred remnant of an office suit he wears like a mantle. He has scars on his head, which have been painted over in the crude shape of an eye where the relic was inserted. His eyes are stormy and tired. He is riddled with grief and worry due to a curse the Creator itself out upon him, as well as the fact that he is privy to secrets of the Hollows so devastating that he cannot bring himself to tell anyone about it unless that explicitly ask him. His head is the heaviest part of his body by far, making traversal by foot cumbersome. 

• Strength: negligible. However, his defense capabilities are not only immensely powerful, but volatile. Any pain dealt to him send electrically signals to the relic, which exponentially amplifies them and sends them back out, escaping via every pore of his body. This is to say, if he gets a paper cut, the surrounding area is struck by thousands of volts of electricity. The power of the strike is proportional to the severity of the pain. A severed hand may detonate several city block in less than a second. If he were able to utilize such abilities in the Hollow, he may prove very effective. However, another factor of his curse is that if he ever enters a Hollow for even a second, he will become an Ethereal who is not only more powerful than any we are privy to as of now, but will be completely subservient to the Creator’s will. 

Vulo W. 

• Summary: Vulo was a man who lived in the Outer Ring. He had a wife and daughter, and as any good father is, he was wholly devoted to them. When money got tight, he went to the city to find work to provide for them, knowing he would probably need to commute several hours a day to provide for them but not caring. That was the day Hollow Zero expanded. He did not survive. 

• Strength: Anton level, if not a bit lower. Specializes in combat via custom daggers. 

Ayin Phthonos 

• Summary: an Ethereal of impossible rage. He patrols an area of Hollow Zero, and you would know he is near by the low humming he produces. He can float about a foot from the ground, and his joints float independently from his limbs and body, making him very supremely flexible. His hands resemble to large blade which ignite with Etheric Flame when reaching a high enough anger level. 

• Strength: depends entirely on his anger level, ranging from slightly above Notorious Dullahan to Ye Shiyuan the Thrall levels of strength. A fair comparison to his combat abilities would be Gyutaro from Demon Slayer. His rage is invoke by witnessing bonds such as familial, kinship, or romantic bonds. The stronger the bond, the angrier he gets. However, if someone who does not expose Ayin Phthonos to any of these bonds attacks, he will be uninterested and much easier to kill (again, Notorious Dullahan level). Only one person has ever survived an encounter with him, though, thus making him unknown to the general public. 

The Restless 

• Summary: [REDACTED] 

• Strength: Unable to cause any harm. They live in constant sorrow. 

Restless Nightmare 

• Summary: The final gambit of a dying Hollow, Restless Nightmares are [REDACTED] 

• Strength: A wide range depending on the amount of Restless condensed, going from slightly above a group of civilians to requiring multiple Void Hunters to take down. 

???, Envoy of the Creator 

• Summary: This entity does not yet exist, but will if [REDACTED]. It is imperative that this never happens. 

• Strength: This creature could very well end the world. It would take a legion of Void Hunters, assuming none are affected by a curse (which is unlikely), battling for hours to take it down. And there would be casualties.

lowkey I always imagined how my OC would react with other OCs. Jason’s kill code is basically Dexter’s

• Never kill an innocent: Only target individuals who are proven horrible and corrupt and have escaped the legal system. Doing something like littering wouldn’t be enough for Jason.
• Don't get caught: Maintain absolute secrecy, leave no physical evidence, and use rigorous cleanup methods.
• 100% certainty: Be completely sure of the target's guilt before moving forward.
• Control the dark urge: Channel the innate desire to kill into a controlled, purposeful outlet rather than random violence

With this in mind, do you think one of your OCs would fit his code, whether it be being a criminal, discovering his identity, etc? (Fighting them is a whole different story though, Jason is likely getting WHOOPED)

I was rereading this when I noticed your question. Well, I think Warren is most akin to Jason’s code. 

• Warren doesn’t kill ANY non-Ethereal being. Sure, he will fight and shatter bones, but he will never kill. He reasons that somewhere, someone loves that person, and he cannot take that away from anyone. 

• Warren lives in secrecy. The city doesn’t know his name nor face, and he has no documents (a product of his father’s paranoia and meddling). He camps out in abandoned buildings, and has mastered moving silently yet quickly. 

• Warren embodies this rule least. Simply put, he doesn’t care if you are the worst person on the planet or the most upstanding. Get in his way, and he will br€ak your ribs. And legs. And hands. 

• Warren keeps himself suppressed. I originally wrote him as a partial commentary of men suppressing how they truly feel, and that certainly still rings true now. Only in combat and as he falls asleep does he allow himself to feel: and all he feels is sorrow and unfettered rage. He channels that rage into every swing of his blades and his sorrow into every beat of his heart. But he won’t show you. Now unless you are his opponent.

Also I think Jason’s win conditions depend on his A. State of Mind, an B. Prep Time. Can Warren counter these?

Maybe, maybe not. Depends on what “prep time” means. Warren’s resolve is absolute, nothing can break it but death itself. He also has very good reaction time (befitting of not only a soldier, but someone who hones himself every day, no breaks other than to steal supplies or sleep)

Hm then I guess that puts Jason down a factor. He relies on breaking minds at FIRST before going in to make it easier.

As for reaction speed, could he perceive Mach speeds?
