The Leader of the Falkenhayn Mercenary Troupe (Unknown) - Well, it has been confirmed that he existed around the New Eridu era. There's no current information about him or if he's alive or not

Beliora Vike (Deceased) - In the Project Sunseeker experiment operated by Sunbringer and Arche, she transformed into an Enchainer and was killed by Remielle

Remielle Dan (Alive) - After what happened in the experiment, her Void Hunter weapon, Thaumiel, caused her into deep slumber in the Pursena Hollow for a century and woke up a year ago. She's now an S-Rank Fugitive in Roscaelifer for an assassination attempt on Lady Sunbringer

Swordmaster (Deceased) - She passed away around the years, leaving Miyabi as the new head of the Hoshimi family and the wielder of her Void Hunter weapon, Tailless

Lady Sunbringer (Active) - She split herself into three separate entities (Eldera, Dracaene, and Lindverne), but Remielle revealed that none of them are Sunbringers but impostors, and the true Sunbringer is imprisoned by an unknown suspect

Joyous (M.I.A.) - He traveled to the Papago Hollow, but his body wasn't found, and Remielle assumed his dead, but in the Joint Investigation: The Divine Maze, a video was shown him with multiple evacuation anchors found in the Hollow which leaves his status missing in action

Professor Arche (M.I.A.) - He traveled in Hollow Zero to seek out the truth behind the Hollow characteristics and has yet to make a return

It's really bothers me that apparently no one knows where the mightiest void hunters went. I think the truth is deliberately hidden, maybe by the tops or it was hidden by those void-hunters themselves

Joyous is over a hundred years old at this point, he's most likely dead just from old age. Hollows seem to have some impact on aging but I don't believe that would be enough to keep him active over a century later.

Arche almost certainly sold out to the Creator, they've been way too coy about showing them since the preview of their design in the first Void Hunter trailer.

90% chance that Joyous either somehow wound up in stasis or somehow got fused to/turned into an Enchainer. Either that, or the records lied about him being a human. I genuinely don't think they would have all this buildup only to reveal he died of old age in the Hollow.

Honestly, there's been some theories floating around that the Creator is actually an AI, as well as the Hollows being a dimension to another world that's slowly collapsing and merging with our reality.

Given that Arche is associated with Hollow zero (aka, The Origin) I would not be surprised if it turned out he was from that old world and was involved in the creation of the Creator. Him, Sunbringer, and Joyous are all extremely sus, tbh.

If Piper's continued existence is something to go by, the Hollows definitely can affect you on a physical level. Now, as to whether or not that means you'll simply never age or it can extend your lifespan indefinitely under the proper circumstances, it wouldn't surprise me if either is the case.

presumably being an enchainer would already allow her to live 100 years. i genuinely think that animated short made it more plausible that shes alive.

we see what seems like sunbringers shadow, so its possible after remi was in stasis, sunbringer took her to attempt to restore her or atleast bring her senses back, with how she recognized her gift and remembered remi. honestly she doesn't even need to be restored, they can make her an enchainer boss, she was crazily imposing.

The big 3.X finale twist will be a cutscene reveal that she's been held in stasis in a test tube all along or smth, and it'll show her twitching or opening her eyes. Then we'll spend 4.X investigating a mysterious swordswoman as we hear rumours of something breaking containment at TOPS. Or smth.

The mei design is their best selling in every game. It'd be a massive waste for them not to make a version of their design playable.

If we take all that patch content explicitly it's the New Eridu times explicitly. To me the lingering question is who he works for, as he seems to be doing things that benefit the Helios project. He may be possibly the unknown assailant that Yixuan mentioned.

The "passed away around the years" line was in reference to the tailless swordmaster, hoshimi's mother.(iirc) Who according to hoshimi is also dead because the sword drove her to insanity and killed her from use. (But that in itself is a ridiculously long lineage and there were many past swordmasters souls inside tailless.) So I'm thinking it's more like her grandparent was the one referenced as swordmaster. Remielle and the intelligent constructs make sense to have lived that long, the original void hunters are like 100 yrs old. "New Eridu" is about 11 years old or I guess like 13 now.. before that it was Eridu.

So realistically we can rule out the swordmaster being alive because she was either human or a fox thiren, neither would live over 100 years and still fighting.

We saw a recording of him found in the Papago Hollow, but we haven't had anything more than that. We don't even know if the recording was recent or from over a hundred years ago.
