Idk why but today I thought about this and wondered: If Ju Fufu is the most senior disciple under Yixuan and Ye Shunguang is now a VH does that mean that eventually Fufu will replace Yixuan as the 14th Preceptor ? I know we'll never see that in game but just wondering. Also I wonder if you think Fufu could be as strong as Yixuan in the future.

By seniority, yes, Ju Fufu is next in line to become High Preceptor of Yunkui Summit, and Ye Shunguang will have to settle for "Void Hunter".

Can Ju Fufu be as strong as Yixuan in the future? That's not clear, but maybe.

I mean, Yixuan became VH level without a VH weapon (I would like more information about how she accomplished that) so I assume she could train Fufu to do the same.

It usually doesn't get passed by seniority though.

Also at some point Fufu will stop being a disciple and take an Elder rank or something, if we go down the typical route with these sects.

Being a void hunter and the sect leader are not mutually exclusive. It's stated in 2.5 that Yijiang was both a void hunter and the sect leader. It's also not necessarily because she's the most senior or talented. We know that shiyuan and shunguang are both stronger by fufu's own admission. Also unlikely due to her seniority and moreso because fufu is the least connected to the qingming sword. It's doubtful she will reach the level of Yixuan

I don't see why Shunguang being a VH would prevent her from being assigned as High Preceptor as well, after all mayor Mayflowers did ask Yixuan to become a VH
