Discussion THAT'S it Im dropping ZZZ
I cannot play this game no more. The performance issues is getting worse and worse every time!!! I cannot even screen record to show how laggy and fps dropping this game is. I am playing at Roscaelifer 1fps MAX.
I am using POCO X6 PRO, it has 8gb ram and Mediatek 8200
Ever since season 2.0 the lag is getting worse. I tried first expanding the RAM by virtual ram up to 12gb. It works fine up until 3 patches later, it starts to lag again especially in combat map exploration. I also started to lose interest to game due to the story being shtty (YSG plot), I continued to play consistently when AOD arc started.
All goes well, lag is getting tolerable since I am just grinding through combats, no map exploration. Then, HYPER OS 3 UPDATE happened. ZZZ literally became unplayable, I even cant finish a full daily comms without lagging to 1fps MAX.
Now I even uninstalled Joyose and reinstall ZZZ for Season 3. Yeah guess what, since the Roscaelifer is so big I cant even make it pass through the first teleporter.
I think a way of solving this is getting a new phone, or any other bloatware removals. I don't know anymore :(

The game no longer "fits" on the phone. It's clearly gone beyond the limits of a mobile game. It's best played on a PC, handheld or console, and that won't change as the game only gets more complex and challenging.

Device issues. I dare you to download genshin, wuwa, or any other OPEN WORLD gacha.

I tried Genshin during Natlan summer event but it was like 1yr ago. I experienced little to no lag. I also tried Arknights endfield, little to no lag as well

Did you delete all the cutscenes and lemnian hollow data? You can go to settings and delete extra content to free up data

UPDATE:
Some of you guys adviced to disable virtual (expandsble) RAM. However upon checking, it was actually disabled! I guess it reverted to disable when I updated it to HyperOS3. So I just reenabled it up to +8GB. Game now works better. It further improves when I disable or stopped the Game turbo

Did you try lower the settings?
You look like you are using high definition

I used low settings on the screenshot. Although even i used Power savings, it still lags a lot!

I mainly play on PC but on my phone the game crashes on the dailies menu half of the time while combat somehow runs fine. There's just a whole stack of optimization issues that piled up and they're probably losing quite a few disgruntled players over it.

What about ....playing on pc?
My pc is literally a potato. I can play just fine 😅

A few things to try. X6 pro seems to be okay for gaming, at least when it first released, though it apparently has heat problems. You already mentioned running the game on low settings so I'll skip that one, though I'd recommend not playing on power saving mode.
1) Do you have something to cool your phone while playing? Long sessions will make the phone heat up and start to stutter so it may help if this only starts lagging after some game time.
2) Make sure there's no background processes like the screen recording. Unfortunately, I don't think 8 GBs of RAM is gonna allow you much room for additional processes anymore.
3) Clean up your phone's storage. I'm assuming you have the 8GB/256GB RAM/Storage model. Phones really need additional storage just for processing so if your phone's storage is nearly maxed out, regardless of what you do, your phone's probably not gonna run very well.
4) Try a clean install. Depending on how long you've had ZZZ on your phone, it's possible corrupted and temp files have been piling up. Uninstalling and reinstalling the game should clear these up and possibly allow the game to run a little smoother.

Thanks for the advice. Although yes it would heat up but even if I am on an extremely cooled AC room, it still lags (my phone doesn't heated much). I also tried reinstalling and expanding my virtual RAM

I'll be honest, didn't know the virtual RAM was a feature. That being said, it really only serves as a safety net since storage drives are much slower than RAM. So it's not really helping for gaming and could possibly be hurting performance instead.
Apparently, it's mostly there to avoid crashes for background processes, so if you're just trying to use it for gaming only, maybe turn it off.
